Chapter six is finally finished!

George's POV

I stood there, wondering how the man knew my name
And then it hit me. I recognized his voice
The semi-deep voice that was warm and wheezed whenever he laughed too hard. It caught me completely off guard.
"That's me.." I said, grabbing a lid and popping in onto the top of my coffee cup
"Why are you here? You never told me you were coming to Florida?"
As he said those words, I felt my face become hot and my eyes become heavy.
He noticed that and softly grabbed my arm, leading me to the register

After he paid for our drinks, he sat me down on a bench outside.
"Can I ask you why you didn't tell me?" He said in a calm voice. I held my coffee in both of my hands and took a sip.
"I went to see my cousin but something came up. I didn't want you knowing I was here"
I said, looking down shamefully.
"Why didn't you want me to know?" He said in a slightly upset tone. I didn't even know what to tell him, that I didn't want to enjoy being near him?
"I didn't want to end up spending more time with you than my cousin." I said, raising my head and looking him in the eyes
It was then I realized how pretty his eyes were. A good mix of yellow and green with a hint of brown. They looked so sincere and concerned, it was nice.
"George? Hello?" I was startled by the sudden voice
"Haha sorry, I'm just really tired" I said taking another sip of my coffee.
"Do you have any place to go? Maybe you'd like to stay at my place?"
I thought about it for a second. I wasn't sure if it was okay to stay with dream, I could just go to a hotel and stay a few nights. But I realized it was almost Christmas and I didn't want to be alone on that day.
"Are you sure that's alright with you?" I questioned
"Of course George, you're my best friend" he said getting up from the bench and gesturing me to follow him.
I nodded and stood up, following him to his car
I put my bag into the back and stepped into the passenger seat
Dream started to turn on the car, as it awoke the radio clicked on and we heard more Christmas songs.
It was nice, I still couldn't believe I just met Dream for the first time at a random gas station.
"Why were you at that gas station Dream?" I asked, looking at him. We didn't meet eyes because he was looking straight ahead
"I couldn't sleep, I decided to go to that gas station I frequently visit. The coffee actually isn't too bad there" He said smiling slightly
"Oh that makes sense" I replied as I checked the time on my phone.

It was 3:29 am, it was definitely too late to be out for just a coffee. But I decided I was too tired to really question it further

We arrived at his house a little while later. I almost fell asleep in the car, but Dream got startled when my head jerked so I was awaken once more.
I opened the back door and grabbed my suitcase and brought it up the driveway.
Dream opened the door, I was surprised he just left it unlocked at such a time. But it was a nice area, so I guess it wasn't a concern
As soon as I got inside I barely made it to the couch before I passed out.
