Where It All Started

After the unknown god took your brother, Aether, You were determined to find him at all cost even if you have to comb this world called Teyvat. You gotta admit, it's a difficult task to do. Just imagine how many days, months, years or much more worse decades that it will take for you just to find your younger brother.

But ofcourse having a little floating companion made it much more easier to cope with your stress and doubts even if sometimes she's the reason your ears are almost bleeding by how much she talks.

Even so you really cherished how she gives you company. She is really caring and fun to tease by the result of her reactions after.

Oh Paimon. The Emergency Food, the mascot, and our floating tour guide.

You have now met the Anemo Archon, Barbatos—Venti and the Geo Archon, Morax—Zhongli. You are now on your way to Inazuma to next meet the Electro Archon via Beidou's ship.

Followed by a floating mascot, Beidou welcomed you to her ship as if you weren't a stranger as she already knows your previous deeds to Mondstadt and Liyue.

"The two of you don't get seasick, do you?" Asked by the captain. "Nope, we're just fine. Not sure about someone here though." Referring to your floating companion.

"HEYYYY!!" She angrily screamed. Which made the captain infront of you smirk and laugh a little. But before you got to the ship, you do remember Paimon looking scared upon riding the ship. You find it hard to understand because she is literally floating.

"W-who told you that I have fear to this silly little things?!"

"You just looked like someone who would be afraid of the sea, Paimon." You replied which resulted you a cute glare from Paimon.

"Well if you do get sick or need anything, don't hesitate to ask my comrades here to assist you." Reassurance of the captain. "I'll be getting something before departuring ourselves to Inazuma."

"Yes captain!" said by Paimon, while you just smiled to the captain while watching her figure walk away.

"Sooo, what do you wanna do while waiting, Paimon?" You asked.

"Let's eat something, did you bring any sunsettias?" Hearing a grumble from your companion's stomach.

"Yep, and I also have a little something that Amber gave me." A smell of chicken honey roast bombarded Paimon.

"YAY! Dear Archons please bless thy wonderful outrider of Mondstadt!!"

Even though you are journeying alone with Paimon, you always felt happy to have acquaintances and friends like Amber and the other Knights of Favonius. It was very reassuring to know that you atleast know someone who you could call on if you need anything they could help you with. Not to mention, the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing supporting you on your quest to find your missing twin, which she even gave you a good amount of mora.

After having a little snack, you and your floating friend made your way to the deck of the ship to watch the sea lead you to your destination.

"hey traveler, isn't that kazuha sitting over there"

looking to the direction Paimon was showing you. "hello traveler, and Paimon. I suppose you two are ready for the storms coming up ahead?" greeted by him.

"Well as long as captain Beidou is steering the directions of this ship, that wouldn't be much of a problem." looking to Paimon's direction and seeing her nervous expression. "I think.."

Hopping off the ship, Beidou escorted you down the harbor to meet a blonde headed man. While you on the other hand, was still astonished by how Inazuma looks and appreciated the scenery very well.

"Ahoy there, So you finally made it. You sure kept me waiting here, captain."  greeted by the still unknown man standing infront of the captain. "And it appears we have a couple stoways... or perhaps I should say --- honored guests." smiled and acknowledged your presence by him.

"You can blame your almighty shogun, the tempest around here in inazuma have been growing more fierce lately." Beidou replied. "Though the fleet was fully up to the challenge, the inclement weather still caused us some delay."

Beidou seemed to realize you haven't introduced each other, she followed "Now then, let me introduce everyone, This is Thoma. a trade partner I've gotten to know recently."

"Hi! You have no idea how long I have been waiting for you." Once again followed by his smile.

"And Thoma these two are—" Beidou was about to introduce you two until Thoma bursting of excitement cutted her into saying that there's no need. According to him, you two were pretty famous even across the seas.

"Hehe, well it's sure nice to hear you say that" Paimon's response.

"It's nice to meet you too, Thoma!" You smiled by how he seems also delighted and thrilled to meet you two.

This is about 815 words, it's really short for now since it's already our exam week. And yes, we won't have interactions with mr.loverboy yet bcuz this will be just showing—well, like what the title says "Where it all started".
