Guess what? Mum and dad said you could stay the rest of the summer! You and Sirius. Do you think you can get permission to come? Please say yes! If so, just write back and we'll pick ya up. I miss you and the guys. Anyway, what have you been doing this summer? I visited my uncle, who lives in America. It was awful! He made me read! Do you know how much I hate reading? Anyway, write back soon, please. Owl ya later, alligator. Get it? Haha, its a muggle thing.

I scanned James' letter and laughed. What a dork James really was. Sirius, who had been reading from behind my shoulder, was breathing loudly in my ear. Can you imagine how annoying that is?

"Sirius, stop breathing in my ear." I snapped, giving him what Uncle Peter calls my " Scare-Glare". I know, weird right?

Sirius smiled at me sarcastically. "Sorry I have to breathe to survive," Then, his attention turned back to the letter. "To spend the rest of the summer at James house? Wonder what that'll be like, if we can get permission."

"I dunno, but let's go ask so we can find out." I suggested, standing up and grabbing Sirius's hand. The two of us walked out of my room and downstairs.

"Lainey!" Peter yelled out when he saw me coming. The only people that call me Lainey is Peter and Charlotte. "Charlotte said I wasnt mature! Tell her to stop being a meanie!" He said in a whiny voice.

"Char," I bbcegan, hiding my giggle when I saw Peter smirk triumphantly, "you're correct. Peter isn't, bor will he ever be, a mature man."

Everyone besides Peter burst out laughing. Peter scowled at me, before pulling me into a soft headlock and rustling my hair. "Stop!" I giggled, playfully shoving him.

Sirius laughed and tackled Peter. I smiled as they wrestled playfully on the ground. Daddy came over and stood beside me, giving me a small smile.

"So, y'all were wantin' ta' know if ya' could stay the rest o' the summer at ya' friend James's?" Daddy asked, and I frowned in confusion. Sirius and I exchanged a confused glance.

Aunt Char laughed. "Vampire hearin'. Seems ya'd be used to it, El, seein' as ya' grew up in a house full o' vamps."

Sirius chuckled. "So, can we? Ya know, stay the reso of the summer at James's."

Mummy sighed. "I suppose. What time do we need to take you over there or..."

"James said he'd pick us up if we had permission to go." I replied matter-of-factly. I really missed James. I wonder if he's changed any over the summer. Another person I miss besides the guys is Landon. I wonder what Landon's doing? Does he think about--

"Ellie! Quit thinking about Landon and let's go owl James back." Sirius teased, smirking.

I glared at him before we both went back upstairs to owl James. Its goong to be awesome to see him.

A/N Sorry it's terrible and short. I really need to work on longer chappies. Anyway, I haven't updated in a long time. Sorry, I've got no real excuse besides that I'm lazy. Is that a good enough reason??? No? Okay. :(. Well, tell me what ya think and vote, fan and comment :).
