Chapter 3: You're my favourite view

Ruby woke up and heard a strange noise coming from behind her. When she turned around Flower was awake and smiling.

"Good morning Ruby."

"Morning flower!"

Flower gave her a hug which made Ruby giggle.
"You were making that cute noise again, when you were snuggled up next to me so I figured it was you."

Flower blushed and smiled happily at Ruby.
Ruby returned her smile. "It's nice to wake up to you in the morning I'm looking forward to doing this every morning."

"I'm glad you think so..."
"Now let's get ready for breakfast!"

Ruby did a flip off of the bed and giddily made her way to the kitchen for breakfast. Flower had no idea how Ruby was so cheery in the mornings.
Breakfast was served quickly and they both enjoyed the meal. After they finished they got dressed and headed outside.

"Wanna do anything today?"
"Sure, what would you like to do?"

Ruby thought for awhile before turning to Flower.
"I think I have an idea, c'mon!" Ruby smiled. Excited to spend time with her girlfriend, Ruby grabbed Flower's hand and sprinted up the hill.
Once they reached the top they stopped to catch their breath. Ruby didn't seemed to be tired in the slighted, while Flower seemed exhausted. After catching her breath, Flower looked around. The view was breathtaking, the sun shined bright and the grass danced in the wind.

"Hah...Wow, this place is amazing!"
"Just wait until you see the view!!"

They sat down on the ground together and looked at the scenery. There was lots of flowers of different colors and shades, all soaking up the sunlight. Flower could feel the sunlight better up here, it felt like pure bliss.

As Ruby glanced up at the sky, pointing at the clouds, Flower couldn't help but think of how beautiful her girlfriend was.

The way the sun shined upon her made her sparkle in the daylight, flashing her red light onto the ground, which made it sparkle beautifully.
She was so radiantly beautiful, and she was Flower's.

Flower thought to herself that there was no one else she wanted to spend her life with.
"Ruby...I love you, and I know you feel the same way about me." Ruby blushed as Flower placed a kiss on her forehead, ruby held flower tight smiling.

Another month passed by and Ruby and Flower spent almost all of their time together. The two loved each other deeply, and Ruby felt comfortable telling Flower everything.

That night Flower had fallen asleep in her hammock outside when Ruby came to her. She had a sad look on her face, and Flower wanted nothing more than to comfort her.

"Hey Ruby?"
"Yes Flower?"
"Why are you upset?"
"Because I can't be with you forever."

Flower was shocked to hear Ruby say that.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm going to get eliminated sooner or later, and we won't be able to hang out like this."
Flower looked up at Ruby with a sad look on her face.

Flower held her arms open to embrace her girlfriend, running her fingers down her back.
"Hey, hey...we'll be okay, we won't be apart forever."

"I know...I'm just really gonna miss you..."
Ruby mumbled into her chest. "We'll make the most of the time we have together now then, whatever you want to do I'll do it"

"I'm not sure what I want to do" Ruby mumbled, still using her girlfriend as a pillow.
"You could model some of my sweaters!"
"..hmnhhhgghh"

Ruby liked the way the sweaters looked, she just didn't like the way they felt. The fabric was itchy to begin with, never mind the glitter on it that made it's way to the inside. But if it made Flower happy she would wear them, plus she wouldn't get any vomit on her.

"alright"

Now it was Flower's turn to be full of energy, she let out an excited squeak before dragging Ruby to the place where she takes photoshoots. It was gonna be a long day, but at least Ruby would look fabulous.
