Part 3: the date

Today was the day Jack and the Mayor are going on the date.

3rd person pov:

Jack got up from his bed and looked at the time. "Oh shoot I'm going to be late!" Jack yelled as he jumped out of bed to get ready. Once Jack was ready he started to walk to the Mayor's house. He pick up flowers on the way there. Once he got there he knocked on the door.

Mayor's pov:

What if Jack pulled a prank on me... maybe he didn't mean what he said. After all who could love someone as ugly and useless as m-. I heard a knock on my door. I answered it to see it was Jack.

Jack's pov:

"Sorry it took me so long to get here, I woke up late..." I explained to him. "It's okay Jack I'm just glad this wasn't some sick twisted joke..." he said as he grabbed his keys "Before I forget, here I bought you some flowers." I said handing them to him "oh Jack these are so beautiful!" He exclaimed as he held them.

3rd person pov:

Jack and Mayor then walked to the restaurant Jack choose to go to. They sat down and looked at the menu. Mayor ordered some chicken Alfredo while Jack ordered a medium rare steak. They talked and ate. After they left the restaurant they sat in the grave yard and talked. Once the moon came out Jack walked Mayor back to his house. "Tonight was really fun, thank you Jack." Mayor said before he hugged Jack "No problem, maybe next week we can do this again?" Jack asked Mayor as he hugged back. "Of course I would love that." He said as he broke the hug and said his goodbyes as did Jack.
