Chapter 6
"So, wanna stay here or go somewhere else." Kyle finally spoke up after the five minute long hug. Tee stepped back from Kyle looking up at his face. I definitely see his feminine features, but overall he look great... wait what am I thinking? She shook her head and nodded before heading towards their cars.
"Just follow me, we can go to my house if you want." Tee said unlocking her car half stepping into it. Kyle nodded and jumped into his small Mazda before starting his engine. He sighed before banging his head on the steering wheel letting out a deep breath. Meanwhile, Tee was having a small mental breakdown.
What the hell in Toney Abott just happened- Her thoughts were stopped by a loud alarm went of from her phone. She quickly grabbed the ringing box from the passenger floor before quickly answering, "hello. Hello?"
"Oh thank god you finally answered" the familiar voice if her mother ran through her ears, "when are you getting home?"
Tee quickly sighed before trying to collect her thoughts, "Um... yea, I'm coming home now, my friends is coming with probably just for an hour or so."
"Oh who is it jenny? Have I met her before?-" Her mother began to question before Tee quickly cut off the rest of her questions, "No umm sh- he is from school, we have a test we are studying for."
"Oooooh, so... who's the lucky fellow?" Her mothers voice radiated that teeth gritting smirk.
"No mum! We are just friends for crying out loud!" He mother giggled before saying her goodbyes and hanging up.
Tee just sighed before beginning to start her decent home. It wasn't to long of a drive through the suburbs to where her home was. Her car slowed down with Kyles right behind hers, before rolling to a stop. She got out of the car grabbing her phone and bag waiting for Kyle to get out of his.
"Wow, you haven't moved since I was last here... it's just like I remember." Tee just stared at Kyle as he looked at the surroundings of the house, "Wanna go it?"
Tee quickly began walking up to the house with Kyle next to her. Her keys jiggled in her pocket as she tried to unlock the door before it swung open.
"Thank god your home- who is that?" It's was Anna-Maria.
"Uh.. this is Ka- Kyle. He is a friend from school." Tee corrected herself before shoving herself through her sister with Kyle following her.
"Oh why your handsome!" Great now Tee's mother was involved, "well, I'm not gonna bother you and... sorry I didn't catch your name."
"It's Kyle ma'am" Kyle said going to shake her hand before she rejected, "no, need to be formal, call me Carol" she smiled hugging him not surprising anyone with her lovely warm embrace.
After the hug Kyle looked over at Tee doing the eyebrow wiggly thing to her pointing out that, 'your mum likes me!"
"Have I met you before? You look oddly familiar," carol was about to say something before she was cut off from Tee,
"Probably just from school mum! But we will be upstairs if you need anything!" Tee quickly reached for Kyles hand grabbing it dragging him upstairs. Kyle glanced back to Carol waving before Tee quickly pulled him along. He quickly realised their connection and got incredibly stressed. He didn't want to mess this up. But why? She was just his friend... right?
Her mum yelled from down stairs, "Keep the door open!" Before Tee quickly slammed the door shut sighing from the situation.
"Sorry about my family... they can be something..." Tee looked at their hands before quickly detaching her grip and looking at her feet.
"I think your cute- I MEAN your family is cute, sorry" Kyle had his hand on the back of his neck rubbing as he glanced around at the room. It was a nice and stylish room, unlike his.
"Um... oh! Do you still have the note? With my number?" Tee said sitting on her bed cross legged laying her paper and rubber down.
"Yea here," Kyle sat in front of her mirroring what she had just done. He placed the rubber so it was connecting to hers and the paper facing up next to the other objects.
"So... why did this happen? Why did it just pop up out of no where? And what does this mean?" Tee said looking at Kyle for an answer. He shrugged and looked at her desk to only see piles of school books. Wait... school book!
He quickly turned to his companion with a big smile on his face, "I have an idea!"
