A month after that night, Khai continued to pursue Third but to no avail, he is as hard as a rock. Ching who clung to him was now treated like air around him and he doesn't give a fuck.

That was a night he could always remember the heartbreak and root of it all. In the corner of his mind the stranger who comforted him when he was on the brink of defeat was still on his mind somedays he thought of him and in some, it felt like he would see him somehow, He never thanked him he just walked away.

Those broad back, silky black hair soft to touch, milky white skin that glowed in the dark was enchanting, eyes that sparkled with interest were ever so expressive I'd drown in them, and those plump red lips that tasted as sweet.

He shrugged off the idea of why was he imagining him again, he was supposed to focus on Third who was eating in front of him. He was treated as a friend but no more than that and they were never alone just the two of them.

Looking over Third and his expressive eyes yet remind him of that man. He shoved the idea it was just on a drunk whim and he needed to focus on the matter at hand. Just staring at Third while he's eating.

Khai POV

Then he heard a familiar deep voice that echoed in the back. He turned around to see a group of engineering students, what are they doing here?

" What are engineering students doing here?"- Two

"I don't know ask them"- Bone

The two argued as they ate beside me.
Out of all the engineering students standing in the cafeteria, one stole the attention, there he was glowing amongst the crowd. It was him.
I choked, coughing on my food remembering the past.

"Aaiii KHAI!! disgusting!!!" - Bone

As I spat some food over his meal. Glancing in their direction they were still standing awkwardly in the cafeteria, while Kao just stood there busy with his phone.

"Two, Isn't that An... Oh so he is meeting them" - Bone

"I think I know now what are they doing here" - Two

An happily greeted them and hugged the girl he met, after a few chats they were making their way towards our table.

"Guuyyyyyssss!!!! I got us some help!"- An

"What's this Two?"- Third

He finally spoke, surprisingly he was interested in the set of people that came. I was peaking at Kao who looks disinterested in all of it still at his phone and he didn't even bother looking at us.

An made them sit with us and to my surprise, he sat beside me, Bone who was sitting with me earlier had already gone and sat beside the girl they were with. Sneaky bastard.

They introduced themselves respectively June, Sandee, Thada, a guy named Pete was also mentioned but he was not available at the moment and when it was Kao's turn he placed down the phone and was surprised to see me beside him but that didn't last long as he went back to his smiling face which I find endearing.

"Kao... Er.. *cough Nice to meet you all"- Kao

" I'm Khai!!"- Khai

I excitedly shook his hand and made my palms linger on them a few seconds longer from which he smiled awkwardly at me.

"Khai! Don't scare him" - Third

I let go of my hold and lifted my hands, that was not me scaring him though. That was me letting him know I was that guy that night.

As the group discussed they will be helping with the props assembly and the mechanism for the stage play it was a graded project of course, and they were some of the people that volunteered and got assigned here at the film department as An requested assistance at the student org.
