Hello, it's me the author, named Silo. I wasn't sure people would read this at first because, it was based on an idea that came to mind when I was a younger, less mature person, and I thought no one could possibly want to read something a child wrote, but then again I thought no one would want to read my other stories. This book will be one of many In the Under the Surface series. This book is about a boy who was abused by his parents, and wished he could just disappear, and find a place (somewhere better) to call home. He was me.
I found that not everyone is put on the same island as me because they want to, but because most of them have to. I found I was wiser and better than everyone who told me I would never amount to nothing. I was full of life. And I wanted to share a less non-fiction life story so everyone could understand me. It's like an autobiography but not realistic. I wanted people to see that everyone can become more than they are told they can be. My "Ex-Grandpa" told me I wasn't worth his time, and he used to beat me. I tried my best with what I had, it was hard and I was afraid. I wanted nothing more than to fade away. I wanted to disappear from everyone's life, I wanted all of the people who would potentially hurt me to disappear, I wanted to start new.
Life sucks, but don't let life stop you from becoming your full potential. Don't let the people in your life bring you down. Find that something that brings you to you. Find what makes you the person that you want to be. I find that nothing that others do to me affects me anymore, because I'm not gonna let them bring me down with them. They can "Bugger Off", because if you're gonna make bad comments about me and try to bring me down, they don't deserve my final thoughts. They don't even deserve a single thing from me, I'm not giving them what they want and neither should you.
I just want everyone who reads this to know that no matter how hard they try to hurt you, how bad your life is, if they are making fun of you, show them who you really are, because if they are gonna gossip, at least let them gossip about you being yourself, because you are perfect, and no one should ever try to change you, and you should never change for them.
BECAUSE YOU'RE PERFECT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!
