Bruce was always used to girls fawning over him nonstop. Thanks to his impressive baseball skills and charming smile. However there was one girl that refrained from doing so. y/n y/l/n. She was the one girl that didn't swoon over him. Bruce didn't want to admit it but it bothered him. Especially because she's been his crush since 1st grade.

Walking the halls in school was the place Bruce usually got the most praise. He, however was looking for the y/h/c girl.

"Hey Bruce"

"Bruce"

"You look good today Bruce"

"Bruce, can I talk to you?"

Girls were basically shouting at him as he walked down the hallway. He just politely smiled at them and continued searching for his long time crush.

"Bruce, buddy I have got to tell you something" One of Bruce's friends called out from behind him. Bruce turned around to look at him. Suddenly, a body crashed into Bruce's back causing him to stumble forward. He quickly turned around to see if the person who ran into him was okay.

Then he saw her. It was her. She had a displeased look on her beautiful face while staring at the ground. Bruce turned to look at what she was looking at. Her books were spilt all over the floor. Students started laughing and the girl could feel tears pricking her eyes. Her nose starting to burn slightly. Bruce hurried to help the girl pick her stuff up. he gathered it and handed it back to her.

"Sorry" he says with an apologetic smile. y/n simply scoffed and walked past him. Bruce turned to look at her walking away and let out a long sigh. He continued on to class and decided he'd wait until lunch to try and talk to the girl.

-time skip-

y/n walked into the lunch room with Finney and Robin talking about a new movie that Robin watched and is trying to get Finney and y/n to watch.

"I'm serious about this one. I don't care if I have to take you both myself your going to watch it" Robin states while crossing his arms. Finney laughs.

"My dad would never let me go and see that"

"Yeah and my mom wouldn't either" y/n said while softly giggling.

They go to sit at a table and keep on talking about anything and everything that comes to mind. Suddenly, a chair from beside y/n is pulled out and a person sits in it. The table gets quiet as they all turn to see who it is. Bruce. y/n fought the urge to smile at him and rolled her eyes anyway.

"Hey guys" Bruce says. Finney and Robin mutter back a 'hi' as y/n just stays silent staring at him. He turns to the girl.

"I was wondering if I could talk to you in the hallway real quick?" The girl furrowed her eyebrows and slightly nodded her head. They both got up and made their way out of the cafeteria. Once they were in a spot where they were alone Bruce just went ahead and said it.

"Why do you hate me?" the question stunned the girl.

"I don't hate you Bruce. I'm just not concerned about your every move and don't worship the ground you walk on" She said looking him directly in the eyes. The action made Bruce nervous. "why do you care so much anyways?" Bruce looked at the girl like she had two heads.

"You really must be oblivious y/n"

"what do you mean?"

"I care so much because I want your attention" The girl still didn't get it. Bruce sighed.

"I like you, I have since basically forever" Bruce avoided eye contact and waited for something to come out of her mouth. Little did her know the girl was smiling like an idiot.

"Bruce," she lifted his head with her fingers. "I like you too" He smiled at her and hugged the girl, spinning her around while doing so. He put her down and they looked into each others eyes with their foreheads resting upon each other.

"I must be a pretty lucky girl if the guy every girl in the school wants likes me huh" y/n let out while laughing.

"you're very very lucky"

A/n: sorry if it's bad, but i'm really tired right now
