Meanwhile- Natsu walking Lucy home

As the two walked to Lucy's apartment, Natsu couldn't help but reflect about the past events and the memories that resurfaced. He wondered if he was really that weak for Zeref to just leave him like he did, and why did Igneel didn't tell him the truth. Igneel knew what Zeref did and the whole time he never told Natsu, in fact he was there when Zeref erased his memories. Instead of telling him the truth he pretended like it was the first time they met. Why? He could've at least tried to tell Natsu that Zeref was his brother before he died after the battle against Tartaros. Did he think Natsu wasn't able to handle the truth, or did he think Natsu was too weak as well.

Natsu don't usually linger onto past events, since it's useless to waste precious energy and time on something that already happened. But right now, the young dragon slayer wished he could just ask Igneel instead of just being left to his impulsive Imagination. He wished he could wake Zeref up and slap him around a little for putting him through all this, but he can't.

A soft cool breeze pulled him from his thoughts, making him look up to the sky as the wind ruffle through his hair, blowing cool air against his skin sobering and relaxing his stiff muscles.

For some reason he never actually realized how beautiful Magnolia look after dark, especially with the way the full moon brightens the roads and passages wonderfully. Glancing around him, he watched how the houses, trees, fields — everything was covered in dense fog and look almost mysterious in the moon light. The light even made the trees and bushes brilliantly beautiful, and the grassy ground glowed in their green glory.

The moon and stars were reflected in the river, as the water is being slightly disturbed by the wind creating little waves with each blow. The sight appeared extraordinary to him making him feel like he could just float away down the river with no remorse.

Glancing back to Lucy in awestruck as the glorious waxing gibbous moon was shining in the sky, accompanied by the twinkling stars shined brightly down onto Lucy. Causing her creamy skin glow even more, as she walked effortlessly and gracefully on the end of the riverbank. Her hips swivel from side-to-side as the wind blew through her hair making it flow behind her like a golden river. Her eyes were closed as her head pointed to the sky bathing in the moon light, with both arms stretched out to her side to keep her balanced, enjoying the air against her skin.

Lucy let out a loud but soft sigh as another gentle breeze coated their bodies, "Ahhhh, this feels nice." she thought aloud, finally watching her steps.

Natsu enjoyed being near the celestial wizard, especially when she's being careless and carefree around him. He like to believe it's because she feels safe enough around him to be this relaxed. If she falls because of her eyes being closed, he'll catch her. If she wanna scream and yell for no reason at all, he'll be ready to give anyone a fire dragon's iron fist to the face if they complain. If she gets tired of walking, he'll give her a piggyback ride all the way home, of course he'll complain about doing it at first, but he would still do it. He even enjoyed getting under her skin, doing stupid things, and saying stupid shit just to get her worked up, makes him laugh every time. Natsu even likes it when she blushes whenever he gets too close to her or give her a slight praise whenever she beats a bad guy ass.

Ever since the moment he met her, something deep inside him knew with her being around everything would be twice as better. But it wasn't until he saved her and other females from that jerk, who lied about being a member of Fairy Tail just to get her on his boat, that he made a move to get her in the guild. Even back than she was so high spirited and reeked of kindness, he couldn't just let her go without trying to help make her wish come true. He knew he loved her than, but he was a blind idiot who didn't understand what it was he was feeling.
