It's Ace day! Happy birthday Ace, posting this as a special chapter for him.

Ace grumbled as he walked the hallways of Night Raven college. He didn't know why everyone was suddenly so fruity with each other and what he meant by fruity is literally almost all the guys are over each other.

He looked at Malleus and Leona who were teasingly flirting with each other, Jamil and Kalim being the sun and moon troupe, Vil and Rook being lowkey, and damn it's making him frustrated as hell. He vented about all the annoying stuff to yuu and good thing they agreed, it's not everyday you see them like this and it was getting on their nerves. It's not even valentines!

While Ace, Yuu and Grim were walking back to their class, Ace suddenly bumped into someone causing them to fall. "Hey– sorry let me– Deuce? Dude I was looking for you everywhere!" Ace said but Deuce just looked away and ran off with a flustered face leaving them confused

"Ace-kun what did you do?" Yuu asked making Ace look at them weirdly

"I didn't do anything? I didn't even see  him all day until now!" He replied

When they got to class they were surprised to see a few people plus Crewel-sensei inside, they were confused that they soon questioned him

"Crewel-sensei? What's happening and why are there only a few of us here?" Yuu asked

"Unfortunately, a student messed up a potion. That potion was said to be love tracker, only a few are affected. If you manage to get it, everytime you pass by or talk to someone you like it will make you all flustered making you want to confess your feelings" He explained

Yuu's eyes widened as they remembered what happened awhile ago with Deuce but they shrugged it off hoping that Ace got the Hint.

The day went by as usual but Deuce kept avoiding the other, he missed his presence but Ace was utterly clueless about everything that's happening! Yuu facepalmed himself hating the fact that he's dense as hell. Yuu tried to get Ace and Deuce to talk to each other but ended up with nothing. The day was nearly ending and everything on Deuce's side was a mess.

Despite Ace being the dense guy he is, Deuce was careful that he won't blurt out any nonsense when they're with each other. He badly wanted Ace to know what he feels but he just knows that Ace is as straight as a pen, the guy even had a girlfriend! Despite that, yuu still pushed him into talking with Ace just so that those feelings of him would get off his chest.

Ace on the other hand was still annoyed by how much people are getting sappy around him, that was until school finally ended. He was on his way back to the dorms when he suddenly saw a familiar lock of blue hair. He ran towards him and locked their arms together

"I haven't seen you all day! Man, it was boring without you around" He said while Deuce is just silent beside him

He looked at Deuce who is just walking beside him. Ace got irritated that he pulled him towards the Rose maze where no one can see them. He faced Deuce only to see him blushing which he thought was cute

"Hey- did I do something wrong?" He asked but he still didn't respond and looked away

Ace held Deuce's chin as he made him look in his direction. They stared at each other for a while then Deuce suddenly couldn't hold it back any longer.

"Ace– You're always the one that brightens up my day even if you did tease me a lot. My heart couldn't stop pounding when you're near since you're really.. really pretty.. and– it's cliche I know but I really like you" Deuce said in a single breath making Ace surprised. He didn't know how to react but as if on reflex, he pulled Deuce in a tight hug

"I like you too, why else would you think that I'm stuck by your side?" Ace said while he gave a quick kiss on his cheek

"Happy Birthday, Ace" Deuce said before melting into the other's touch once more as they spent the remaining hours of Ace's birthday bash with everyone at Heartslabyul.
