Jump Then Fall?

A new start

"Emily, wake up. We're here." My eyes slowly opened to see Liam slightly shaking my arm.

"Here as in where?" I asked while a yawn escaped my lips.

"Wolverhampton, my home town." He answered with a smile.

I got out of the car then tried to help him bring his things in. He wouldn't let me help him so I shut the boot when everything was out. I quickly got to the front door for him. When he was still inside I brought the last suitcase in for him.

"Is there like an elephant in here or something?" I asked dragging in the heavy suitcase.

"Not even close there love." He grabbed the suitcase from me then carried it upstairs no problem.

"Hi! You must be Emily! Oh and I'm Ruth, Liam's older sister."

"Hi Ruth, nice to meet you." I said while shaking her hand. Soon she pulled me into a hug.

"So where are you from?" She asked letting go of me.

"Forfarshire in Scotland." I replied. She ran up the stairs since some one called for her.

Liam came down the stairs and gave me a quick hug. Over the short amount of time I've know him, he's become really protective over me. I find it kinda weird because, well no one has been protective over me. We walked over to the couch and he put in toy story. Awe, he's such a little kid. About 10 minutes into I stopped paying attention and just started looking around the place.

"Emily, what are you doing?" Liam asked.

"This place is so big...." I heard him let out a small laugh and returned his attention back to the movie.

Soon after the movie ended, Emily had fallen asleep with her head resting on my lap. I carefully moved up from the couch so I wouldn't wake her up. I carefully picked her up and walked into my room and set her on my bed. I walked back out to the living room and decided to sleep on the couch. Now that I began to think about it, Emily was ridiculously thin, thin as in I could feel every single bone in her spine, witch I don't think is a good thing.
