Y/n: "I have the feeling no matter where it is, I am the only voice of reason around." Y/n mumbled into the headpiece given to him by the Hero he was supposed to shadow.
For the last 2 days, ever since the run in with that Trigger dealer and the buyers, Mirko decided she wanted to find the person at least one level higher than the dealer. Much to Y/ns annoyance that meant he was being sent into every single warehouse the Heroine decided looked a bit too shifty.
After the eight time Y/n simply walked in on Villains doing their villain things, only one of those times actually having anything to do with Trigger, and Mirko bursting through the windows, ceiling, door or even wall to completely destroy the surprised group inside the warehouse, the duo have finally found a lead to the potential destributer they were looking for.
All that once again means Y/n had to get into a warehouse full of Villains and potentially full of a drug that makes said Villains even stronger than before, with only a single Hero as his backup.
Yes his Quirk made him perfect for this.
Yes he had yet to be noticed by any of the Villains he simply followed through the door.
Yes he probably will be doing this a lot more once he goes Pro.
Yes he took some of the Villains money for himself without telling Mirko. Dammit he deserves to have nice things too and he just recently saw the price for tickets to the next basketball match of his friends. Was it wrong in all possible ways? Yes. Did he care? No. He had been on edge almost the entire day every day for the last few days. Fearing that one of the Villains somehow was able to notice him, or that he accidently reveals himself, or that someone walks into him revealing him like that.
Mirko would never know how much his heart would beat everytime he snuck into a warehouse for her. She would not understand the fear in him. And then she also had the nerve to give him smack if he took a bit too long for her liking.
If the woman couldn't beat his ass from Japan to Germany and back, Y/n would have smacked her with all his might at least twice by now. At least he could tell her freely and bluntly how much he hated her for making him do this.
Mirko: "I hear a lot of whining and not a lot of sneaking, get to it brat, I want to finish that carrot stew you made!" That was another thing that got Y/ns ire. He was making all their food and rarely was it something he enjoyed, not that he was a picky eater, just that he would have liked to choose their dinner at least once since he started shadowing her.
Y/n: "Well I can't just open the door! They would hear it and be on alert!" Y/n barked back. Luckily he was still sitting on the roof of the building right next to his target. He would not be talking if he was close enough for anyone to hear him.
The weather was both helping and making everything a lot worse.
The heavy rain had started right the moment Y/n got into position and from the looks of it it was only going to get worse.
Right now Y/n was waiting for one of multiple possible openings for him to enter. One would be someone going out for a smoke. The other would be a possible customer arriving and leaving the door open. Another could be someone foolishly opening a window in this weather.
All he could do at the moment was wait and keep his frustation bottled up. His hero costume was fully drenched through and him not having a jacket did not make the cold anymore bearable.
He lost track of the time until he finally got the opening he was hoping for. Two men just left through a side door. The moment he spotted the door opening Y/n was already in the alley and speed walking towards it.
