...
Hayat was making bed after the dinner when she saw Murat entering the room with a bowl in his hand. "Come, Hayat. Lie down and show me your feet. Babannem said this oil is good for swollen feet." "But how do you know about swelling?" "Ah I searched it up on google when you said your feet were aching. Come here!" he said with his charming smile and habitual wink. She felt so good as he massaged her feet with his muscular yet soft hands. "Look how dependent he has made me, what would I do without him?" she thought to herself and went into a deep slumber. She knew she was more captivated by his love than she would like to admit. He pulled the quilt over her and got busy with his laptop. The next morning, both of them were getting ready for the office.Hayat was looking for something and Murat knew what the search was about. She was startled when he lifted her up in his arms and took her to the shoe closet. To her surprise, there were several pairs of beautiful flat shoes. She just stared at them with her mouth open,
"What's this Murat?"
"I consulted your doctor and she said flats are preferable during pregnancy. You cannot run around all over the office in heels, it's bad for your back."
"But when did you do this?" and before Murat could answer, she guessed, "Murat Sarlsilmaz way?" He nodded with his eyes closed. "But why so many pairs? And don't tell me you threw my heels away!"
"Oya has kept them somewhere else, don't worry."
"You're such an adorable husband, Murat. Come here, let me squeeze your cheeks."
"What?!"
And she was pulling his cheeks already. She kissed him and quickly tried a pair on. "This is so comfortable. Thank you so much, aşkim." To his dismay, before he could get another kiss, they heard Kerem's voice from downstairs and rushed to the drawing room.
"Murat, we have a very important meeting with new investors. It's very crucial for Sarte and Doruk needs you. He is very nervous. I've come here to take you," Kerem said without wasting any time. "Tamam, calm down, Kerem. I will come with you," reassuring Kerem, Murat turned to Hayat, "Aşkim, have your breakfast and leave for HYT. I'll meet you there." He kissed her forehead and went to put on his overcoat. Kerem quickly enquired Hayat about her health and took her leave. On their way to Sarte, Kerem told Murat about his wedding date which is not too far away now. Murat was delighted to know that his best friend is going to start the most beautiful journey of his life. "Let me know if there's anything I can do for you, Kerem. Don't forget that I'm your brother." Kerem, as usual, gets emotional and nods. Murat feels nostalgic as Kerem parked the car in front of Sarte, it was where he learnt to face challenges. Everyone greets him with great enthusiasm, just the way he likes and he reverts with the same zeal. He smiles at Cagla and asks for a coffee, which she happily registers in her audio notes. Murat finds Doruk in a very restless state, fidgeting around in his cabin. Doruk runs to him as soon as he spots him, "Abi, I really need you. Everything will be restored if this meeting goes well." Murak calms Doruk and suggests some strategies to crack this deal, which immediately makes Doruk feel better. "
"You'll be there with me, right?" asked Doruk. "Alright, I'll be there," Murat answered. "Now you have a coffee and get ready to bring Sarte back to its form."
Hayat felt very confident and cheerful when she walked in HYT. She greeted everyone and looked at each person's progress. One of the employees complimented her shoes and she could not resist telling her that her husband gifted her those. "What a way to tie a man to yourself," Hayat turned as soon as these words stung her ears. Of course it was Didem. Hayat put her hand on her belly as if trying to save her babies from the sting and tried to stay calm. "Azize, bring the files to my cabin," she ordered and walked towards her cabin. "I cannot tolerate this woman. What does she want from us now? I need to calm down, this is not good for my babies' health. I don't want to end up in the hospital again."
