"Oh, don't give me that look, Volteer!" Cyril snapped, shooting a glare at the golden dragon. "The only reason I even said that was so we WEREN'T wasting precious energy on a bunch of idiotic felines." He added in defense as Volteer nodded. Was he going to say something? Probably. He could also be weighing the consequences in his head of him saying whatever he was thinking.

"Oh. There it is," Cynder snorted irritably, her green eyes narrowing at the blue dragon. Spyro felt something move in the corner of his eye.

Someone was watching them.

"Cyril, Volteer! I think–"

Before he could call out a warning, powerful winds blasted through them, knocking the entire group out of flight before they could react. Loud screeches and yelling filled the air as a white dragoness with a green underbelly dashed across the sky. Black frost splashed this dragoness's wings as they carried her. Following behind her like a torpedo was a crazed blue and white dragoness– One whom Spyro could not get a clear sight of.

The purple dragon could hardly keep himself in the air. The winds were too powerful! The two dragons were fighting in the air, with the emaciated blue-colored one tossing the silver towards the side, shooting aggressively for her neck.

Cyril and Volteer suddenly charged as fast as they could, despite the rage of the winds. Their elements created a storm in combination with the mysterious wind dragoness. Spyro could see who the enemy was here and carefully made his way towards them, despite the resistance from the winds.

The silver dragoness's gaze shot toward him like an arrow. Her venom-green eyes widened as her eyes met with his violet. Her pupils narrowed in hatred as she dived past the three dragons in favor of the young one.

When Spyro barreled out of her way, she raised herself into the sky. The many thin spines on the back of her neck raised in an aggressive gesture. The blue dragon was flapping in a craze after her, white teeth aiming for the jades of the silver dragoness's neck.

However, the silver dragon seemed to have lost interest in the one with the light blue scales. She did a roll in the sky, blasting a white frost into the face of the other dragoness, who cried out in pain.

"Oh, you sweet sorrowful creature." The silver dragoness taunted in a hiss as the winds suddenly died down. Cyril quickly dove downwards after the pastel dragoness. The last Spyro had seen of the guardian was the violet shade of his wings that vanished into the mountain underneath.

Now, it was him and Volteer against this remaining mystery dragoness. Her mouth curled into a smile, large fangs revealing themselves at the sight of her prey.

The silver dragoness let out a hiss as she charged at Spyro. Before he processed what happened, she grabbed him by the neck with her teeth. Spyro gasped in pain for a moment before getting an idea– He focused on the element of electricity, allowing it to flow through his scales!

In response to the feeling, the dragoness cried out and the feeling of teeth left his neck. He struck her with his claws the moment she was stunned before shoving the dragoness downwards and flying past her.

She whipped around and chased the purple dragon. White frost formed from her jaws before a flash of gold came dashing like an arrow towards her. Voltage flickered off of Volteer's scales as he charged this unknown dragoness, who merely rolled out of his way.

As she spun, she let out a flurry of ice spikes. Spyro hopped out of the way of the projectiles, starting to focus on both the element of fire and electricity for a deadly combo attack! But then, he noticed something!

Wait a minute– Where's–?!

As soon as he lost focus, the unrevealed dragoness came barreling into Spyro at full speed. Pain shot throughout his body within the next few seconds. He didn't have time to process as she knocked him down with a smile.
