Secret Love (Regulus Black X Reader)

At 9 o'clock i was behind Honeydukes and Regulus was approaching me.

"Did you put the fake diary in it's place?" he asked instead of greeting me.

"i did." i nodded "Did you get the fake locket?"

"Yes." he pulled it out of his pocket and gave it to me "Let's go." he grabbed my hand and i apparition us to the cave Tom took me to.

"Where are we?" Regulus asked.

"Tom brought me here." i said and walked towards the wall of the cave. I pulled a knife out of my pocket.

"What are you doing Y/n?" Regulus stood next to me confused.

"We need to do a blood sacrifice to open the wall." i said and just before i cut my hand Regulus stopped me by grabbing my hand.

"I will do it. Cut my hand." he handed  me his hand.

"No, Regulus, I'il do it. I've done it before." I raised my hand to show him the wound on my palm.

"Tom let you do it?"

"No, he told me to do it."

"Give this to me." he grabbed the knife from my hand and cut his hand. Then he pressed his palm against the wall. The wall opened and we walked in.

In front of us was a lake that in the middle had an island. On the coast where we were there was a small boat. "Whatever you do don't touch the water." i said as we sat in the boat. The boat started sailing to the island.

"Why?" he looked at the water.

"That's an Inferi-infested lake. If we disturbed the water, the Inferi would emerge and attempt to drag us into the water to drown, where we will become an Inferius upon death." i explained.

"Wow, Tom knows his job." he said in awe.

We got to the island and carefully left the boat. "Do you see that basin?" i turned to look at Regulus "The horcrux is inside it."

"Well it would be easy to get it then." he went to the basin and tried to put his hand in it but it wasn't not possible.

"That basin is filled with a potion that could not be touched, vanished, transfigured, or charmed. The only way to dispose of it is to drink it." i said and grabbed a rock and transfigured it into a cup. "I'm going to drink it. And after i start drinking it i will see my worst fears, i will beg you to stop drinking it. Don't listen to me i have to drink the whole potion to stop seeing those things. After i finish the potion grab the horcrux and replace it with the fake locket. Then i will need to dehydrated you have to stop me from drinking water from the lake. Because if i touch the water we are both dead. You have to put me in the boat and bring us back to Hogwarts. " i said but Regulus seemed unhappy.

"I will drink the potion." he grabbed the cup from my hand. Before i could do something he filled the cup and drank it in one breath. Regulus fell to the ground and the cup rolled next to him.

"idiot." i grabbed the cup and fill it "I'm sorry." i whispered and handed it to him. He drank it without saying anything. But it was clear that he was in so much pain.

After few more cups he started begging me to stop. "I'm sorry Reggie but you have to drink it. I promise it will stop hurting once you finish the potion." i gave him the last cup and a tear rolled down my cheek.

I replaced the lockets and the potion filled the basin again. "Let's go Reg." i helped him stand up.

"I'm thirsty Y/n." he whispered "Give me water please." he was hardly staying up.

"I will give you water let's go to Hogwarts first." i helped him into the boat.

I help Regulus lay on my bed and hand him a big cup of water.

"Do you feel better?" i asked him after the third cup.

"Yes, much better." he said "wait what if Pandora catches us?" he tried to stand up but i stopped him.

"Don't worry about her." i said "Let's worry about the fact we don't know how to destroy the horcruxes. I had read the book Tom told me but there is written only how to make a horcrux." i stood up and started circling around the room. "We need something that can make the horcruxes, buch and dust, but what's stronger than such strong black magic?"

After half an hour of thinking and stupid ideas Regulus says.

"That's it i found it." he stood up "We need a Basilisk tooth. Basilisk's venom is so strong that after it dies it stays in the tooth. We can go to Borgin and Burkes to check out. There is literally everything dark."

"Good job Regulus." i hugged him. "And after we destroy the horcruxes we will send Tom and his followers to azkaban."

"And how exactly?"

"With this." i wave in the air a eavesdropper.

"What's that?"

"That my dear Regulus is eavesdropper. Muggles use it to eavesdrop on people. I mean, the police uses it only. We'il go to the ministry and hand it over to them. They're going to listen to Tom tell me about all the evils he intends to do and he's already done." i said and happy tears fall down my cheeks.
