I've never written a lullaby before so I was quite interested about giving it a go when I was asked to, luckily I think it went okay...!
Lullaby:
Close your eyes and rest your head
Your dreams will carry you away from your bed
To a land of magic full of beauty
Where you are free and have no duty
Hush now darling close your eyes
In dreams you can hide from all of the lies
Nothing bad will happen nothing will go wrong
Can you smell the sweet flowers as I sing my song
The skies above are full of stars
The night is alight with fairies in jars
Their wings are silk and their hair, it glows
The better you sleep the more of them will be shown
So close your eyes and breathe in deep
Think of wonder as you fall asleep
You are safe and you are strong
Go to sleep as I sing my song.
