They tell us to ignore it. If we threaten to tell an adult we are a tattle tale, but it really gets to us. It eats away at our souls, until we are left with emptiness, a black whole of what we once were. They say it is not real bullying unless it is physical, but I think verbal bullying is worse. It eats us from the inside out, sometimes so much it ends up showing on the outside in the forms of cuts, scars, and malnourishment.
