Y/n POV:
I picked up my ringing phone and held it up to my ear.
"Hello, can I help you?"
Unknown-Hey y/n, can we please just talk."
My heart dropped as I heard is dark, husky voice through the other side of the phone. It was Jacob, the boy I had been messaging for over a month until I realised he had been with a girl (Beth) the whole time. I had previously
blocked him and didn't talk to him ever again, until now.
"Jacob wtf how did you get my number. Did you not get the hint when I blocked you on
everything?"
Jacob-"Look y/n I know I fucked things up between us but please give me a second chance or at least let me explain myself." He pleaded
"Fine go ahead but make it quick, I'm not wasting all day listening to you pitying yourself."
Jacob-"Thank you." He sighed "I broke up with Beth a bit over two weeks ago and I've only just built up the courage to talk to you again. I want you to know that me and hers relationship meant absolutely nothing to me and every day and night I've just had you on my mind. Please can we just go to the square cafe and just start over fresh."
It took me a second to take it all in, he just admitted to still liking me and never even caring for his ex.
"Okay we can mee-"
Before I could even finished my sentence I heard him whisper "Get in!" Under his breath. I can't lie, it was hot.
*after a bit more discussing they arrange the time for the cafe 'date'*
