Y/n POV: *The next day* My alarm went of at 8:00 am to get my up and ready for my 'date'. Honestly I'm fairly excited to see Jacob after over a month of ignoring him I finally get to see him again but obviously I'm nervous I mean like I just said, I haven't seen him in over a month. Whilst I'm thinking about conversation starters (so it doesn't get awkward) I pick out a casual but cute outfit that I hope will make his jaw drop at least a little bit.

After I've put on my outfit I head over to my vanity and start my natural-ish makeup routine. 35 minutes later and I'm just about done when my phone buzzes from a message notification. It was Jacob.
*Hey y/n I'll be at the cafe in 15 minutes. See you there x*
A KISS HE ACTUALLY SENT A KISS ALREADY, my heart started beating faster. I know it was stupid to get so excited over a little kiss on a text but to me it was important, it showed me he actually wanted to start over with me. Anyways I got myself together and finished everything else I had to do (like brush my teeth) and then I set of out of my apartment , into the elevator and out onto the busy street. It only took me 5 minutes to get to the cafe so I knew I wouldn't be late,except he still managed to get there before me. Guess he was really keen.
Jacob-"Wow. You look gorgeous y/n."
"Why thank you Jacob, you don't look half bad yourself" I smiled at him and he beamed back at me.
Together we walked inside the cafe and sat down at a little table in the corner near a window. I can't lie and say it wasn't a bit awkward at first but after about 10 minutes we both started to ease up and get more comfortable. We ended up reaching the main topic of discussion. His ex. I asked him why he would lead me on like that and he said he just couldn't explain himself.
Jacob-"I knew it was wrong y/n but I just couldn't help it, we just had a connection and whenever we texted my mind would completely forget about Beth. Im sorry."
"It's not okay what you did but I'm going to forgive you, just this once though! If you try pull anything else on me then I'll actually never speak to you again."
Jacob-"Deal" he chuckled in the most peculiarly, cute deep way
"Oh and one other thing. How the hell did you get my number if I blocked you on everything?"
Jacob-"Aha yeah I thought you might ask that eventually. I asked Amelia (one of your friends) for it and after a lot of persisting she gave it to me, but obviously I couldn't use her phone or else you would be annoyed at her for telling me so, anyways I then called you on one of my friends phone." He suddenly gave an annoyed expression "Shit, I literally just told you who gave me your number even though I wasn't meant to. Please just don't tell her I told you."
It took a second to understand everything he just babbled out to me but after a minute I calmly responded.
"Don't worry I won't tell her, just as long as you tell me whether your actually interested in me." Holy moly I did not mean to say the last bit.
Jacob-"Of course I am sweetheart" he grinned
