No wonder mom liked it here. It's beautiful! The carriage slowly halts to a stop.
"Sorry, your imperial empress. Someone is blocking the street. Who would block a royal carriage? A few minutes and the carriage still hasn't moved. I twist and handle and step down the stairs.
"Captian, who dares to block the way of an imperial royal's carriage!" The guards' bow.
"Blessing and glory to our imperial sun!"
"Rise."
"This noble won't stop blabbering about his slave who has run away." Slave? I thought that due to Obeila pressuring Siodanna that Siodanna wouldn't have slaves.
"What does this person look like?"
"Slave! That little girl is nothing but a slave!" Girl?
"Do you know who I am?" I ask. The man sneerers.
"Some stuck up princess who's going to be sold off to a king!"
Jason points his sword at the noble's neck, glaring at him.
"You, a mere noble, dare to say our empire's imperial sun is to be sold off!"
That noble's ace goes pale.
"I'm sorry, your highness." He bows. Such disrespect!
"Leave." I glare at him. He runs off.
"Jason, find out about this 'slave' he has. Siodanna nobels shouldn't have slaves."
"Imperial sun, your command is my duty to fulfill." Jason smiles.
