May I Have This Dance

Head-Rippers body was completely dismantled the entire outer layer of his body was pretty much no use due to how much damage and corrosion it had sustained. However the internal parts were still in relatively good condition and could be used to the repairs on Kiryu had started the repairs were going to take sometime however Komodo was there to help give him company while Kiryu couldn't yet talk he was more than Happy to just stand there and listen
As Komodo talked to him about her stories, Her hopes and dreams. And in general things she wants to do in life.

She would occasionally ask If I was bored or if she was being irritating, I obviously just shook my head as she was the only one around who was actually good company.
I wasn't sure how long the repairs would take but I did know that with her here it didn't matter.

Meanwhile Godzilla would occasionally see how Kiryu. However, with how long the repairs are going to take and the threat of Keizer, Godzilla couldn't stay around for too long.

He needed to head back to his Queen and children.

Today was one of those days where he couldn't come visit at all so it was just me and her.

Today the humans were able to fix my vocal box. And repairs to my legs so that they're fully functional. It was just a matter of testing how good of a job the Humans did.

The gate opened and Komodo helped me to step out of the bay I was at.

I took nice and easy slow steps through the base and out the gate.
It was night the sky was black and the moon was large the stars light up the sky

We continued walking, my legs holding up surprisingly well. The exterior was still damaged but the internal stuff was fine.
The sound of the wind filling the air
Komodo was enjoying it she stopped for a moment as did I.

I looked over at her. She took in the sound of the wind, her eye's we're closed she inhaled the cold night air and exhaled slowly she seemed at peace.

"no one knows how long we have in this world Kiryu. Enjoy every moment of it." she said

She opened her eyes and looked at me smiling we continued are walking There was no place in mind we just walked until we made it to the end of the island. With nowhere to go we both just stood there

"wh... What's is it like" Kiryu said.

"what do you mean?" Komodo asked

"the breeze, the sea, the cold air." Kiryu asked

"do you not remember"

"it has been so long that I have no recollection of it"

Komdo sat down and signaled Kiryu to sit down with her, he obliged and sat down with her. Kiryu looked at her while Komodo stared out into the ocean

"it's... Freeing, when you take the time to really embrace the elements, it's like no matter what happens you know that everything will be alright that you will be ok, that is how it feels" 

"it's almost like you were prepared for that question" Kiryu chuckled

Komodo laughed as well before saying

"well that's just how I feel anytime I feel it"

"You are amazing you know that."Kiryu said

"oh I know, , it's hard being so great," Komodo said while smiling at Kiryu

"ha... I'm serious though you have helped me so much. It's going to be hard to repay you." he said

"I have kept count so you are going to be at it for a while." Komodo smiled

"well I know where to start."

"oh yeah and what that?"

"I still owe you that dance"

Komodod's face lit up a bit.

"yeah you do, don't you" she said with a smirk.

Kiryu stood up shacking himself a bit and removing any sand for his joints. And then held out his hand Komodo looked at it and smiled at him before grabbing his hand, Kiryu raised her up until both of them were standing.

"Komodithrax... may I have this dance

"you sure you can handle it" Komdo asked.

"guess we will have to find out. Wait."

Kiryu sighed

"what is it?" Komodo asked

"we have no music" Kiryu said

"I could hum it?"

"that will work.

"do you remember the dance?"

"of course."

Kiryu placed his arm on Komodods waist and the other arm on her shoulder while Komodod remained on her hind legs and wrapped her arms along Kiryus neck Komodo hummed and and the two titans began to dance.

At first both of them were clumsy but slowly got back into the rhythm of the dance.

There eyes locked onto each other as her hum broke the silent eye, overpowering the sharp wosh of the wind. Kiryu was careful to not step on her foot but Komodo accidentally stepped on his foot a few times.

The dance turned into a soft side-to-side sway her hum grew louder but still kept its soft tone Kiryu closed his eyes taking it all in Komodo got closer and related her head on Kiryu's metal chest and moved her arms down around Kiryu, Kiryu followed by moving his arm from her shoulder to the back of her head gently holding her as they both swayed and dance. It was as if everything was gone except for each other, as if they were in a cold void and there shared warmth kept them alive, it was perfection

Her hum grew quieter as if she had finished or didn't know the rest. The swaying dance slowed to a stop as she got of form his chest and looked at him once again making unbroken eye contact.

When Kiryu looked into her eyes this time however he saw no fierce or mischievous intent, he saw vulnerability in her eyes, like a lost child.

After a little while Komodo seemed like she wanted to say something but was unsure.

"I was unsure until now, as much as I denied this feeling always came back, a feeling designated towards you Kiryu," Komodo said

"what are you saying Komodo?"

"Well Kiryu... I'm in love with you, and I think you are to, well at least I hope other wise this would make thing rather awkw--"

She was stopped by Kiryus touch as he held his hands against her face as she did to him at the party Kiryu lowered his head and the two touch heads and rubbing each others necks. In a sign of affection.

"I do Love you Komodithrax. You have shown me a path to a good life I thought not possible for someone like me, but you helped me in your own way that is. Thank you." Kiryu expressed

Komodo hugged him tight and smiled with glee

"you know though that Are relationship will bring challenges. Right?" Kiryu asked

"I don't care you're mine, and for now that's all that matters.

Kiryu" Komodo I promise to be with you from dusk till dawn. To be with you till the end of time
