Waves. The sound playing repeatedly in his ear slowly brought him back to reality, followed with a wave of anxiety which caused the dog to jump and frantically look around. He felt the cool breeze from the water on him being outweighed by the strong sun rays beaming at his white fur. He felt the rough sand from under him and managed to grab his round glasses and put them on."What is this? Where am I? Who am I? Just kidding, I'm obviously THE Mr. Peabody, dog prodigy, the dog that will save humanity, and the best zumba dancer." The small dog said out loud to the ocean.
He picked himself up and started trying to find out where he was and how he got on this beach. "Okay so, I was just making breakfast for Sherman and Penny, then I went to a business meeting and everything went black. How odd... oh! I remember! There was a fight between me and some other businessmen, but I never bicker with my colleagues. Why today?" Mr. Peabody spoke to himself.
He shook away that thought and began walking along the beach trying to figure out what his next move will be. The beach strip was beautiful. The Sun was just starting to set, the oceans were calm and gave a nice breeze, the golden sand complemented the tropical green palm trees, but he felt as if everything was oddly perfect.
His eyes widened when he saw a bunch of beautiful beach houses. He needed to inspect them, maybe someone else was with him on this island, there could be food in the houses, and it would be a place for him to sleep. He checked a few beach houses but they were all locked, besides one.
The only beach house with access to the inside was a baby blue, 3 story beach house. A pool was connected to the walkway between the house and the beach and everything was open for the fresh ocean breeze to seep into the house. Mr Peabody went inside and immediately searched the first floor. The pool was right outside, so the 1st floor had things for parties or events.
There was a smoothie bar and a kitchen, a piano, a huge tv playing music with a couch, a beautiful bathroom, a table that looked like it was for gambling purposes, and two huge white doors parallel to the door to outside from before. Mr Peabody figured it was the exit, but the door was locked. There were multiple locks with answers to them like riddles and number combinations, so Mr Peabody tried to solve them, but wasn't successful.
White spiral stairs went up right through the middle of the house. The second floor was suspiciously empty, it almost looked like a ballroom, but there were huge windows on the outer side of the floor, perfect for stargazing or just relaxing.
The third floor was much more busy. There was a curtain covering a part of the open area with a huge couch, bean bags and comfy chairs, and a huge movie screen on the wall. How odd. On both sides of the floor there was a room. To the right there was a bedroom that was pirate themed, with one of those pirate beds for a child. On the left side of the floor there was a seashell room with a pretty bed and a huge strip like bathtub with a waterfall coming out of the wall. Both rooms led out to a patio with beach chairs and a breathtaking view.
Mr. Peabody was exhausted from searching the whole house and already had a headache from his blackout before he woke up. "Was I attacked?" He asked himself. He went down to the first floor and started making a smoothie with fresh fruits he found in a bowl. He began putting the fruit together but saw a figure moving outside by the pool. He was going to rush outside, thankful that there's another being with him, but realized it could be a threat.
The white dog grabbed an umbrella and a rolling pin and started quietly walking towards the backyard to the pool. He saw the last thing he would expect to see, dropping everything in his hands while witnessing it.
What emerged from the pool was Mr. Peabody's biggest competition, former bully, arch nemesis, and worst enemy, Elon Musk. But this time when Mr. Peabody looked, he felt something different. He felt butterflies in his stomach seeing Elon walk out of the pool with the sun shining on his skin. Elon saw Mr Peabody and was just as shocked. "PEABODY! Is it really you?! Do you know what's going on?! Did you wake up on the beach too?!" Elon shouted. "What?! You?! Why are you here?" Mr. Peabody said, still in awe of everything happening. "Yo chill Peabody! I don't know why we are here either, all I remember was being in a business meeting and a fight happened and I blacked out for some reason. I can't remember what the business meeting was about or who was hosting it." Elon said nonchalantly.
Mr Peabody couldn't process the fact that he was here with Elon Musk, alone together on an island, having the same memory, and he was acting as if he didn't have a care in the world. "I... need a drink." Mr Peabody shouted and walked back to the bar.
Elon ran after Mr. Peabody but he was just getting ignored. "Peabody, we have to figure out how to get out of here! We don't know why we are here and why is it just us two?" Elon rambled but Mr. Peabody was too focused on his margarita. "Peabody? Listen dude we have to do something, we can't just sit here on this beach making drinks and accepting this mystery." Elon said, still being ignored. After what seemed like forever, Mr. Peabody turned around. "Ok Elon. Tomorrow morning we can search the beach and try to find some clues. Now leave me alone." The dog said taking his drink up to the mermaid room. Elon sighed and sat on the couch and watched TV
Mr. Peabody got ready for bed. He heard Elon walking into the pirate room across the hallway. He went outside on the porch looking up at the stars in the sky. He sighed, gazing at the universe trying to relax from this confusing, crazy day. His thoughts were interrupted by an opening door across the porch, it was Elon. "Oh hey peabody... whats going on...?" He asked but got no reply. "I'm sorry we are always fighting over who does better for the world and that we're always competing against each other. I miss how things used to be, like when we were kids y'know?" Elon said. Mr. Peabody felt a pain in his chest. He agreed with Elon, he wanted him back, maybe even more than just friends... wait what!? NO! That's silly right...
Elon looked embarrassed and a little hurt after sharing all those feelings with Mr. Peabody and getting no reaction. As he turned around to go back inside, Mr. Peabody sighed. Today was just too much for him. Yesterday he and Elon were sworn enemies and now he misses their friendship? He weakly went to bed and fell asleep immediately.
