Hello. Author here. I've read all the good COTE reaction fics and slogged through a few dozen awful ones before finally deciding to take things into my own hands. So... here we are.
I won't bore you too long, but I'll give you a general idea of what to expect from the story:
No infantile Class D. Tired of people treating them like toddlers. They're dumb high schoolers, but they're still high schoolers.
Takes place a little bit after Year 1's rooftop fight, since that's as far as I've read. Sorry to anyone who wanted Year 2 events/characters.
Also, this technically means that Ayanokouji's class is 1-C now, but for the sake of ease, he's still in 1-D and Ryuuen still leads 1-C.
No simping/negative or weird attitudes to women in general. [RANT] It makes me mad how so much fanfiction (and, in fairness, the series itself) turns every girl into a blushing mess every time Ayanokouji so much as breathes. Or they make one negative comment about him/aren't very "useful" - which they don't actually have an obligation to be, mind you - and the fandom curses them out as a "bitch". Cough, Airi, cough. I like Ayanokouji as much as anyone else, but to me, it comes off as creepy and kinda misogynistic. [END RANT] Maybe I'm oversensitive, but it's how I feel. I'll do my best to respect the actual characters' feelings, though.
Speaking of simping, I'd prefer if you kept your comments on the tamer side? Just a matter of personal preference. This is the Internet, so I'm not expecting much - and I don't think I'll start deleting comments, either - but I'd appreciate not telling any characters to kill themselves or stuff like that. It's just a story.
How about this? Pretend Hiyori is reading this book. Hiyori is your book buddy and she's reading every comment you leave. Cool? Cool.
That's all I have to say. Please enjoy the story and tell me what you think.
