Chapter 7
New Mexico
I looked out the window and saw the city lights of my child hood lite up under me. I haven't been in Albuquerque in years, for that mater I hadn't been in New Mexico for years.
When Niall pulled up to the home he grabbed my hand and pulled me close.Niall put the car in park while I hopped out to get the bags. I took a deep breath , taking in my childhood memories. I look at the big tree in the front yard, yup still had my brother Jason, and my tree house. I walk to the black mailbox with white numbering along its side and look at the post of the mailbox. In the cement there payed two pairs of small hands with the initials DM and JM. I was interrupted when I heard a loud shriek and saw my ; Mom , Dad , Jason , and my four year old sister Paige , coming out the front door. Paige pushed her way past Mom and Dad and ran to meet me. I go down on my knees and opened my arms wide. Paige ran into my arms and gave me a huge bear hug and stoked my hair. After a good cuddle, I pryed Paige off of me, her eyes were red and her face was stained from tears, a few stray tears were stuck on her cheek. I held he once more, while I whipped the tears off her face.
"Cece." Paige hasn't been able to say my name for quite sometime so all she can say is Cece.
" I am here Paige... I missed you so much!" A lump in my throat began to collect and I tried to hold back the tears. I could not stop the water works that had begun to run down my face. I hadn't seen Paige since her third birthday. I had missed so much in Paige's life, and I wanted to be there for her, I wanted to be there for Paige if she ever had a bad day, if her friend was being me, I want to be there for her when she goes though all those broken hearts from boys , I wanted her to be able to talk to me a give me a hug when she needed one. I was already failing at my job of an older sister.
" Paige do you remember Harry? Niall's friend." I gave Paige a little poke on her nose as I scooped her up in my arms.
" I think so." Paige looked confused by the question.
" Well, Harry has a god daughter named Lux. She is the cutest little thing. She is about one, when you come to London you can meet her. Anyways she reminds me so much of you that I had to stop seeing her as often because I would cry from missing you." I gave Paige a squeeze and she giggled.
" I luff you Cece." Paige replied, I don't think she understood what I was trying to tell her.
While I was having a conversation with Paige I looked over my shoulder to see where Niall taken off to , and I saw him hugging mom , shaking dads hand, and doing a handshake with Jason. I love to see Niall isn't shy and interacts with my family instead of following me like a lost puppy. My dad noticed it when we first started dating because he would not stop telling how good of a guy Niall is and how important it is for your boyfriend to interact with your family. I resized Niall was different from all other guys, Niall really cared about my family like he did his own.
