chapter viii.

perspective"Why are all of you here?" I stare at all of them —Leon, Valére, Remi and Inès— standing right in front of my door.
"Ask him that," Remi points at Leon, "He dragged me off my bed to be here," she throws a glare at him.
"I literally started the last season of Gilmore Girls!" Inès frowns, "And then he pulled me off my bed."
Leon snorts, "Please, Inès. You watched that show ten times now."
"Leon!" I groan, "What are you planning on doing now?"
"A sleepover!" He grins, "Obviously."
We all blink, processing his words.
"I don't think there's enough space for all of us to sleep in the same room," Valére states, glancing at the room.
I blink, "What? Of course, there is space!" I gasp, pointing to the floor, "Even ten people could fit in here!"
"I am not sleeping on the floor," Remi states, "I need a bed to sleep on," she points at my bed.
Inès stares at my bed, "It seems like only three people could fit on it. The rest sleep on the floor," she points at the carpeted floor.
"How come Yves gets to not join us?" Inès frowns, "That is unfair! He deserves to sleep on the floor."
I furrow my eyebrows, "I'm pretty sure Yves is not in his room. I haven't seen him ever since I came back."
Leon nods, "You're right. I checked and he's not in there."
I tilt my head, "So this sleepover isn't going to happen?"
"Says who?" Leon narrows his eyes, "It is going to take place but just not in this room."
"What?" I blink, "Then where?"
"Oh no," Valére murmurs, "I know what he's going to do."
"Bring your pillow along," Leon points at the five pillows on my bed, "We'll need them."
"Crazy boy," I murmur.
"Psycho," Remi corrects, rolling her eyes, "I just need my bed."
"Hurry up!" Leon shouts, gesturing us to follow him as he walks out of the room.
We all groan before following him. He walks out of my flat and then walks towards the elevator.
"What are you all waiting for?" Leon arches an eyebrow, "Get in!"
We all get in and stare at him.
"'Where are you taking us?" Valére sighs, watching him stare at the floor buttons.
I narrow my eyes, "Why are you taking us up?"
Remi gasps, "Wait. Isn't the highest floor where Adrianna stays?"
Leon nods, "Yes! We're going to sleep over there," he grins as the elevator halts before he walks out as the doors open.
"Leon, would she even be awake at this time?" Inès murmurs, "It's literally one at midnight."
Leon shrugs, "We can just wake her up. It's fine."
Leon walks up and stares around, "So which one is her flat?"
"Pretty sure all of them," I laugh, "She did say she booked the whole floor for herself."
"I think it's that one," Inès points at the door in the corner, "Pretty sure that flat is the largest here."
