Author's note: Short continuation of Pick/Rome story.

Rome's eyes fluttered. The lights in the room were too sharp, hurting him. He blinked a few times, adjusting his vision. He focused on the unfamiliar room, recognizing it as the university infirmary. So he did pass out. Rome closed his eyes for a moment, remembering the face he saw before the world went black. P'Pick couldn't be here. It must have been a hallucination.

"Rome?" Pick's voice sounded from beside him. Rome's breath hitched. Did he finally go insane? But Pick's voice sounded so real.

"Rome?" The voice said again. And soon after, Rome felt a light touch on his hand. He didn't want to open his eyes and face the truth. He was afraid that the touch of the man he loved and his voice was just a product of his confused mind.

"Please, look at me." Pick pleaded, and the pain in his voice hurt Rome too. He took a deep breath before opening his eyes, looking straight at his nemesis.
