Damian and Delilah

YOU SHOULD HAVE ATTACKED ME

       The battle was fierce, everytime any of the four brothers swung their sword, bodies of their enemies fell. It was so bad that Azar began to worry, he thought that he would loose the war
      "What are we going to do?" He asked Elizabeth worriedly
       "Just keep fighting, you should know that it's an honor for a soldier to die on a battle field. It shows that you fought to the end
     Your name will live on forever, my beloved fear not for I, your love, will always stand beside you" She said encouragingly with a smile
      "But you can't be here so go back and I promise you that I'll come back victorious" He said reassuring smile
        "But I can't leave you Azar, don't make me do that please" she said with tears in her eyes
      "Fear not for I will come back, now go...go!" He said
      "But I..."
     "If you truly love me then go" He said, putting her in a hard place
      "I love you and I will always love you until death do us part" she said and kissed him before riding off on her horse
      
      In the palace
     Damian was about to go to the dinner table for lunch when he walked into Delilah
     "Damian listen, I understand that you're angry at me and my father but you have to understand he would never just wage a war for nothing, I think Artia must have done something to anger him
      Look I know my father and I know he would never act recklessly so would you please give it a second thought before accusing him" she pleaded with him
    "Look...I'm tired and worn out, and just so you know, I'm not angry at you. I'm trying to be the better person here and not loose my temper so stop" He said and walked away. She sighed in irritation and went to the dinner table
       When she got there, she saw an unexpected guest and she immediately hid her face in order not to cause trouble
      "Damian I don't like this woman's presence her, it completely ruined my mood and adds to my worry for Azar. Tell her to leave" Elizabeth ranted
     Delilah knew Damian was mad and her so she thought he would ask her to leave so in order not to get embarrassed, she turned and headed for the stairs
      "Wait... Delilah isn't going anywhere, I've told you before and I'll tell you again. She is my wife and your sister-in-law so you will show her respect
      If you don't like her presence then go to your room but stop abusing her because I will not stand for that" Damian said coldly as he glared daggers at her, causing her to shut her mouth
     Elizabeth knew that Damian never easily lost his temper with her but when he did, it would be dangerous so she decided to keep quiet in order not to loose face infront of that woman
      Delilah stopped in her track and turned back to see Damian motioning for her to come and sit next to him so she sat down and started eating quietly
       She felt the air in the dinner room grow stuffy and uncomfortable. The heavy silence was too much for her so she ate faster so she could leave immediately. When she was done she went to her chamber
       She was laying on her bed when Damian walked in and she raised her eyebrows in question
       "Listen I'm really sorry for my sister's behavior towards you and you're right, I had sometime to think about it and I know your father wouldn't wage a war for nothing.
       I'm sorry for how I treated you, my sister is all I have and I love her alot which is why I got angry when I saw her crying, I'm really sorry" He said with his head bowed and Delilah couldn't help the smile that found it's way to her lips
       "It's okay I'm not angry at you, I forgive you" she said with a smile
     "Thank you..." Damian was cut off by a loud scream
      "AHHH!!!"
     They quickly rushed downstairs only to see Elizabeth weeping on the floor with a corpse beside her
    "Elizabeth what's wrong, why are you crying?" Damian asked worriedly
     "Brother, they killed my beloved Azar, I told you now look at what they've done to my Azar. Brother please tell him to wake up, I can't live without him...AZARRR!!!" She screamed, her scream sounded so agonizing that anyone would pity her
     "Your highness, we found this letter close to the body" A soldier said
     "Read it out loud, I want to hear it" Elizabeth yelled like a crazy person
       How do you like my gift to you your highness, you imprisoned my daughter as your wife and she wanted to be free from such a horrible man like you

       "Permission granted" Damian said in a grave voice and turned to Delilah. His eyes red with fury, the betrayal striking him hard
      Delilah couldn't believe her ears, she never told her father that so why were they lying
      "I trusted you, I was foolish enough to believe that you'd forgive me. I begged for your forgiveness and now you go and do this? you betrayed me and caused my sister so much pain
      If you had a grudge then you should have attacked me, why my innocent sister?. What did she ever do to you, you gained my trust and then stabbed me in the back, you..." Damian yelled but was interrupted by Elizabeth
     "I can't live without my Azar, I can't, I promised him that I would love him to death so I will go and be with my Azar" she said and plunged a sword into her stomach and it came out of her back
       "ELIZABETH!!!" Damian yelled in shock as he saw his sister bleed out
       'Elizabeth you can't do this, you're the only one I have left. Please" He pleaded, his eyes now red with unshed tears
      "Seek re-revenge f-o-r m-mine and A-A-zars deaths" she said and gave up in his arms
     "Elizabeth no, no, no please you can't leave me I beg you please. I love you so much please come back to me, Elizabeth please" he pleaded as a single tear fell out of his eyes and he clutched her tighter
     "I promise you I will make those who caused your death pay dearly" He said and turned to Delilah, taking so calculative steps towards her
    "Why, why?" He asked as he drew nearer to her
    "I swear Damian I never..."
     "SHUT UP YOU LIAR!!!" He yelled and slapped her hard, causing her to fall down. He squatted next to her and held her jaw tightly
     "I will make you suffer for the rest of your miserable life" He said and pulled her up by her hair, causing her to whimper in pain and he tightened his grip and pulled her all the way to her room then threw her to the floor
      Delilah's head was hurting alot and she had a severe hard ache and the corner of her lips was bleeding due to the slap
