Confess

Chapter two

I was in the car driving to Aaron's-Owen's brother- a place to see my son.

Asking how the hell I've got a car that quickly?

Got back my Range Rover since I worked for it, I bought it after I saved money, and I was proud of myself.

I pulled the car over and hopped out, I walk to the door and knock.

The door opened and Aaron looked at me not speaking I rolled my eyes. "Please I'm tired of this, I'm alive yay. Can I see Elijah"I asked

I only just noticed he had a towel around his hips, he just got out of the shower, and I close my eyes.
"Don't tell me he isn't here" he left a deep chuckle

"Chill he's upstairs sleeping"I sigh in relief "come in"he spokes opening the door wider.

I walk in and he closed the door while I was looking around. He looked at me sighing "guess you visited Owen" he says walking past me, as he did he looked into my eyes.

"Have you talked to him?" I asked he laughed "haven't for a while," he says, I followed behind while he leads us into the living room.

"Can I see him" he turned to look at me, his eyes softened in a way.

"You don't need to ask to see your son Venus" he spokes leaving chills on my skin

I gave him a small smile "first room" he spokes, I walked upstairs and heard him follow behind.

I opened the black door and sigh in relief when I saw him, he was sleeping with a teddy bear in his hands.

I walk to the bed and went in with my knees only, I smile softly as I moved the hair out of his face.

He makes soft noises in his sleep, my head moves to take every detail of him, to see everything I've missed.

I frown at the scar he had on his right cheek "from the accident"Aaron says behind me, I hummed.

"When was the last time Owen has been seeing him"I whisper as I backed away to look at Aaron.

He puts his hands around his hips
"Like a year ago" my heart is more than broken, my heart is officially shattered.

"I'm sorry, Venus, I really am" he spokes while raising his eyebrows. "There's nothing to be sorry for, I've got what I need, "I said looking at Elijah.

We were silent for a few minutes then broke it when we heard Elijah cry "it's alright buddy" Aaron says sitting beside me.

I looked at how careful and lovely he is with him, I looked at Elijah who was rubbing his eyes.

He looked at Aaron then at me, I gave him a smile he frowns.

My smile dropped.

He doesn't remember me

My eyes began to tear

"Mama," he asks, and my smile appears again.

He remembers me.

I hugged him tightly as tears left my eyes, he puts his head on my shoulder.

I've never been happier

"Do you remember me?" he asks pulling away, I laughed while crying.

"Of course, I remember you" he frowns, "the doctor said you will not be able to remember"he spokes.

"I can't not remember the most important human in my life" he smiles.

"I'm her favourite," he says looking at Aaron-who was staring at us in awe-

"Of course you are" he replies, Elijah turned back to me. "You're my favourite too"I smiled

"You too uncle, but first go get dressed," he says putting his little hands on my eyes.

I was biting my nails as he spokes, my mind was full of lots of things. I had to decide...decide?
There's only one answer to this offer, yes, no other answer it's best than this.

Aaron asks me if I want to stay until I get better, and be with my son here.

I can stay with my brothers but my son has a school here, my brothers are in Washington while we are in Boston 

"Venus do you hear me" Aaron waved his hand in my face, I looked at him without turning my head.

"Okay" he looks at me and asks  "alright" I smile "Alright" I swear I saw the corner of his mouth lifting.

"We really should inform them" he suggest
