"Cherry, not so tight! You're gonna break my wrist!" Peachy exclaimed as Cherry pulled her to the lemonade stand. When they arrived, Cherry ordered a small cherry lemonade. Peachy opened her mouth to say what she wanted, but before any words came out Cherry rudely interrupted by saying that Peachy also wanted a cherry lemonade.
Peachy glared at her, offended. "I don't like cherry lemonade!" she hissed.
That when Cherry returned the glare, and Peachy almost screamed. Her eyes, which at first were green, had turned monstrously yellow. Peachy blinked and rubbed her eyes, and when she looked again Cherry's eyes were green again.
"I'm sorry, is something wrong?" Cherry asked in that eerie monotone voice.
"I-I swear to God, I think there's something wrong with your eyes!" Peachy cried. "Th-they just turned yellow! Yellow!"
Cherry raised one eyebrow. "I don't know what you're talking about. My eyes feel fine."
Peachy took deep breaths, staring hard into Cherry's eyes to make sure what had just happened wasn't still happening. They were perfectly green. "Are you okay?" Cherry asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Peachy said. Her cherry lemonade had been served to her, and she reluctantly took a sip so Cherry wouldn't get mad.
