Alice Vader looked at the silver gun in her hands and felt shocked. She walked over to the window and reflected on her deserted surroundings. She had always loved idyliic Falmouth with it's outrageous, obedient oceans. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel shocked.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Clarke Superhalk. Clarke was a loveable lover with sticky fingers and beautiful legs.
Alice gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a funny, predatory, tea drinker with charming fingers and tall legs. Her friends saw her as an energetic, excited elephant. Once, she had even saved a muddy old man that was stuck in a drain.
But not even a funny person who had once saved a muddy old man that was stuck on a drain, was prepared for what Clarke had in store today.
The wind blew like hopping rats, making Alice ambivalent.
As Alice stepped outside and Clarke came closer, she could see a tiny glint in his eye.
Clarke gazed with the effection of 5,190 snooty fluttering frogs. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and want affection."
Alice looked back, even more ambivalent and still fingering the silver gun. "Clarke, I just don't need you in my life anymore," she replied.
They looked at each other with delighted feelings, like two bad, barbequed badgers smiling at a very kind carol service, which had orchestral music playing in the background and two forgetful uncles cooking to the beat.
Suddenly, Clarke lunged forward and tried to punch Alice in the face. Quickly, Alice grabbed the silver gun and brought it down on Clarke's skull.
Clarke's sticky fingers trembled and his beautiful legs wobbled. He looked irritable, his emotions raw like a thoughtful tame torch.
Then he let out an agonizing groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Clarke Superhalk.
Alice Vader went back inside and made herself a nice cup of tea.
