~ Chapter 19 ~

Kim EunA's P.O.V

"Just stuff." I answered.

"Tell me." Sooyoung said.

"No." I answered while shaking my head. I sat down at our usual table. Minwoo oppa bought me food but I didn't feel like eating. Sehun came up to me a couple minutes later.

"Noona, can you please stay after school today?" He asked.

"Why? I questioned.

"Luhan hyung wants to talk to you." He replied. I nodded my head. Sehun was about to leave but I stopped me before he even made a step.

"Wait!" I called. He hummed then looked at me. "Where do I meet him?" I asked.

"At your locker." He answered with a smiled. I nodded my head and Sehun left us alone. After lunch, I went to the gym.

"Ailee unnie!" I called for her. She immediately turned around and looked at me.

"Yes, EunA?" She responded.

"Can you please tell Jaejoong oppa that I'm not going to be home until about four?" I asked.

"Why?" She questioned.

"Luhan oppa wants to talk to me after school." I said. Ailee unnie nodded her head slowly. "Let's get changed." I suggested. She nodded her head again. We both made our way into the changing room and changed into our gym clothes. "What are we going to do today?" I asked.

"I don't know, we're probably going to run, the coach isn't here today." She said. I nodded my head in response. Ailee unnie was right, the coach isn't here. Ailee unnie went to talk to Kris oppa and Sehun about something. We had to run the entire period which was very tiresome. Once school ended, I immediately made my way to my locker. Everyone left so it was very quiet.

When I got there, Luhan oppa was nowhere to be found. Since he wasn't here, I went to back to one of my class, because I left the ring Junsu oppa gave me there. When I got back, Luhan oppa was still nowhere to be found. Did he forget about me? I was about to leave when I noticed rose petals on the ground with a stick note on my locker. The note told me to follow the rose petals. The handwriting from the note looked a lot like Luhan's handwriting.

I followed it and it leads me to the rooftop. Once I got up there, I saw Luhan oppa standing in the middle of a heart made out of rose petals. "Luhan oppa?" I called.

"EunA." He said quietly then turned around with a white rose. "For you." He said then handed me the rose.

"For me?" I asked. He nodded his head. "What for?" I asked.

"EunA?" He called. I looked into his eyes and smiled. The way he looked at me made my heart beat faster than before. "I-i-i like you." He said slowly. I was shocked and happy. "EunA, I liked you ever since we met. I wanted to tell you that I liked you but I just didn't have enough courage to tell you that. EunA, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. I was extremely touched. "If you don't want to, then you don't have to." He said shortly after. I immediately shook my head.

"I would love to be your girlfriend but I don't know if I can." I said. Luhan looked very confused. His eyes were slowly tearing up. Does he like me that much? I asked myself.

"What do you mean you don't know if you can? If this is about the girls, I can tell them to stop. I can protect you, EunA. EunA, please let me be the one to protect you. Let me be the one that cheers you up when you're upset. Let me the one and only in your heart." He said. Again, I was extremely touched but I still don't know if I can or can't date him I need more time to think.

"Oppa." I said then looked into his eyes. I felt kinda guilty for turning him down. If he knew that I was a vampire, he would know why I can't date him yet. "I need more time to think about it." I said.

"I understand." He said quietly.

"I'm sorry." I said. I left him and went back home. I felt really bad for him. I really like him but I don't know if I can date him. Once I got home, I grabbed Ailee unnie and dragged her into my room.

"EunA, what are you doing? Let go of my hand, it hurts!" She shouted. I immediately let go of her hand.

"Sorry." I said. I sat down on my bed and hugged my pillow tightly.

"What's wrong? What did Luhan do?" She asked.

"He did nothing bad, he confessed to me." I said.

"That's great, but why are you so upset?" She asked.

"I don't know if I can date him." I said quietly.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"I'm a vampire and Luhan oppa is a human being. I'm scared that I might hurt him." I said.

"If you really love someone you will never hurt them." She said.

"So, I can date him?" I asked then looked up at her.

"Of course, you can, why can't you?" She asked.

"Like I said, I was afraid that I might hurt him," I repeated.

"You won't." She said.

"Are you sure?" I asked. She nodded her head while smiling.

"What will Jaejoong oppa think? Will he let me be with Luhan oppa?" I asked.

"I'll deal with him." She responded. I immediately smiled.

"Thanks, unnie." I said. She nodded her head then walked out the door. What do I say to Luhan oppa, tomorrow? I'll think of a way to tell him.

"EunA! Drink your blood so we can go train!" Junsu oppa shouted.

"Coming!" I shouted back then ran out of my room. After drinking my blood, I waited for Junsu oppa downstairs.

"Are you ready?" He asked I nodded my head while smiling. We didn't actually train that night, we talked about what happened at school today.

Junsu's P.O.V

I took EunA to the forest, not to train, but to talk about what happened today. We sat on a random log. "Did the girls hurt you?" He asked.

"What are you talking about?" She asked.

"I heard that you were attacked by girls." I said. EunA shook her head while smiling.

"I'm fine, they didn't hurt me." She responded. That's a relief. We decided to play around in the forest instead of actually training. Once we got tired, we laid down on the ground and looked up at the star.

"I feel guilty." I suddenly said. EunA looked at me in confusion.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because of me, you got attacked." I said then looked at her.

"Oppa, I'm fine, the girls didn't hurt me." EunA said then smiled slightly, it wasn't a happy smile, though. It was more of an upset smile.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Have you ever felt upset because you can't be with the one you love?" She asked. That's how I felt for the past days. I wish you knew how I felt. "No." I said. I looked into her eyes. "Why? What's wrong?" I asked.

"I felt bad for Luhan oppa, I turned him down. The good thing is that I get to tell him that I can date him tomorrow." She said then smiled.
