03-"Try it"

Tell me why it's only been like 30 minutes, and it's already feels like it's been two hours?

All i've been doing for the past few minutes is chomping on chips since there's no one I know here that I could talk to.

Taking a glance around, I spot Stella making out with Heesung at the far left corner. Ew.

I cant see her but i can hear Ceions drunk wailings from somewhere in the house.

I loudly sigh as my gaze attached onto the disco ball on the ceiling. How the fuck did they even get it up there in the first place?

It's been 34 minutes into the party and I just want to go home. Standing up, I grabbed my coat, fast pacing to the door, I bumped into people who were still dancing to the loud ass music.

I almost reached the door went I collided into a firm back of a familiar blonde. Quickly going out of my way to reach for the door knob, a quick tug at my arm and here I am, now facing the boy who i believed to be named Kim Sunoo.

Beside him was a person I knew a little too well. I sit next to Jake in a few of my AP classes, so he's not a stranger. Still, it's very awkward to talk to people like him, a flirt.

I figured that Jake could also tell who I was, even though we only talked once or twice."Aren't you Imena from french class?"

"You know her?" Sunoo looked at Jake wide eye.

He shrugged " A classmate."

The attention went back to me as I coughed in the quietist way I could. "Why are you leaving so early?" he asked , as if he wasn't distracted like ten seconds ago.

I shrug leaving him to frown. "There's nothing to do and no one to talk to, so im just gonna head home."

I heard a soft chuckle from my left as Jake was eying his drink then me. "If you think there's nothing fun to do at this party then you're dead wrong."

I roll my eyes at his stupid remark. "Oh wow really? I didn't know that." I say, making sure I emphasized my sarcasm.

"If you've got nothing to do here then you're just not doing shit right." He loudly stated, glaring lasers into my eyes.

Feeling agitated, I pressed more to get it over with so I could leave "Then if I'm not enjoying the party 'properly' then what in the fuck do you expect me to do?"

He looked at me then looked at his drink slightly smirking. I can tell by Sunoo's uneasy look that, Jake is about to make me do something idiotic.

He held out his cup to me, the smell of strong alcohol making my nose sensitive.

Blondie pushed his drink into a different direction as he started to yell about how wrong it was for him to suggest it. Slightly leaving Sunoo to the side, Jake firming pushed the cup into my chest. "If you really want to start enjoying this party, and the others that are waiting to come, I want you to try it."

I hesitated for a while as the only thing in my peripheral view was Jake waiting for me, Sunoo furiously gesturing for me to not do it and the bright ass lights that keep changing color.

It was then when I noticed Jake coming closer as he leaned in to whisper "It wouldn't hurt to have fun, see? Look at your crush having the time of his life." He said nodding his head to my right.

Turning my head I see sunghoon in the corner drunk and making out with the skankiest bitch at our school.

I wasn't supposed to let my feelings take control of me but I felt so bamboozled to the point of tearing up. I mean I thought he liked me, how could I not?

Of course Jake wanted me to see that as he was smirking still leaning into my ear. "If he's having fun so should you. It's not bad trust me. So just do it."

If Stella and Ceion are enjoying this party, then what's stopping me from doing that as well? I mean, this could be used as a first time experience and Sunghoon can fuck that bitch for all I care

Fuck it.

I grab the cup that he was holding to me, looking at it, grimacing. I sighed as I held it to my mouth, the strong scent enveloping me.

One sip wouldn't be that bad right?
