Soojin's POV :
Yijin, my younger brother, enters while I'm in my room working on my homework. He slams the door after saying, "Yo, Dipstick. Mom's calling you for supper," which makes me cringe. I should be immune to it by now. He's done it before, so it's not new. I sigh as I rise from my seat and make my way downstairs. By the moment I got to the dining room, I scoffed at what I saw there. Without me, my family was already enjoying dinner.

I just kept staring at them and wondering whether they would notice. After almost five minutes, my twin Hyejin calls and invites me to come. I enter in silence, pull out a chair, and take a seat. They all give me a glance before returning to their joyful discussion. As I normally do, I eat in silence. I reach to get more food then my mother starts taunting and I ignore her taunting and return to my seat for a while. Later, when I return to my room, I hear my parents insult me. I go to my room and get ready to go for a walk after getting ready I go downstairs and slip my shoes on and I leave the house I go to my favorite place, the park which is near my grandma's house to be honest I wanted to meet my grandma.

she's someone who I can talk to about my desires, goals and dreams and she's the only one who cares about me. When I first get to the park, I sit down on the closest bench and think about why Hyejin and Yi-jin are usually given attention. Were they favored because they were more attractive than I am? Sure, I know that they can't just ignore me because I don't look good. Sometimes people would approach me only to be Hyejin's friend. I used to try to please my parents as a child, but I never succeeded. They always kept me a secret from everyone they knew, and whenever someone questioned who I was, they would simply reply, "I'm just their maid's daughter," which hurts. People would constantly praise Hyejin for her kindness, beauty, and perfection, but only I know that Hyejin is actually a snake. My parents usually give Hyejin and Yijin their full support, but when I told them about my dream, they immediately laughed and said I had no chance. My ambition is to become a well-known singer. They frequently describe me as a disgrace to the family. I sometimes question whether I was adopted.
