"Y/N do you have any connections to Helen Otis?" The cop asked, your eyes were empty not carrying any emotion.

"No..". You answered simply, to drained your defend yourself more.

The interrogation room was silent, as the cop with thinking. Perhaps he wanted to figure out if you were telling the truth or not. The cop frowned slightly. "Y/N I can tell you've been emotional drained from last nights horror, but I need more detailed answers". He said, his voice calm and kinda understanding.

You nodded. "I didn't have any connections to the recent killer. But..". You hesitated but decided to go on. "I do have reason to believe he was stalking me..". You finished.

The cop looked at you almost stunned. "That'll be all for today Y/N. Thank you for your cooperation". He said, allowing you to leave the room. You silently left and found Heather in the waiting area, as soon as you saw her you collapsed into her arms and began to weep silently.

"It's okay Y/N..", Heather soothed, gently stroking your hair. You felt yourself grow more calm with each stroke, Heather stopped stroking your hair and looked at you. "Feel better now?" She asked. You nodded simply. "How about we got to 7/11 and go pick up some slushes?" Heather suggested, you nodded again with a smile on your face.

Once you and Heather had returned to the dorm room, Students and Teachers came flooding in wanting to ask you questions about what you saw last night. Heather shooed them away, and put on your comfort movie before walking away to making some snacks.

You took a sip of your slushy and sniffed, guilt had been eating you up since last night. Perhaps you could confine in Heather? No. you thought suddenly. She'll think I'm a monster. You added to your line of doubts.

"It was nice of the Teachers to let us cut class for a week, huh? To process everything...". Heather commented. She'd been the second one to see Rose's body, and was utterly terrified.

"Yeah..". You answered in a dry tone.

"You must feel guilty". Heather's sudden accusation, caught you off guard.

"What?" You spoke, almost in shock Heather would say that.

"I mean, some psycho killer kills someone who was interested in you. You must feel some form of guilt. Despite it not being your fault". Heather's words were surprisingly wise.

"You do know how I feel..". You answered. Heather simply nodded and brought you some of your comfort food.

"Here, you must be drained from last night. And today". Heather placed the food on the coffee table just before sitting down beside you. You both watch the movie in silence, as you can feel Heather's and your comfort in each others presence. You smile and simply say.

"I'm glad your my friend".

[Ack- sorry for the short chapter! I've just been kinda drained lately with school and all 😅]
