The ocean breezes managed to chill the inside of the oak cabin, which in turn, only made the couple cuddle closer together.

The early morning sun filled the room through the windows, causing the lovers to stir in their sleep.

Tom's face was rustled between Tord's two hair tufts, reveling in how fluffy his caramel hair was. His arms were wrapped around him, holding his prince delicately to his body. Tord was open-mouth snoring on Tom's chest, drooling on him with his hands stuck to his skin.

They were both exhausted from yesterday, sleeping in long enough for Tom's hunger to have to wake him up. He yawned and pulled away from Tord's hair, slowly opening his eyes and looking down at his partner. He smiled from how adorable Tord looked with his cheeks slightly squished and his eyelashes rested, smoothing the hair back on his forehead to leave him a little kiss on the head.

"Mnn..." Tord tussled a little, turning his face to plant in Tom's chest. Tom snorted, drifting his fingers through the tips of Tord's hair. "Did I wake you, hon?" he asked in a whisper, earning another muffled noise from Tord.

"..mn, no..." He murmured, pulling the blanket up a little more over his shoulder. Tom grinned and gushed, giving his hair a playful ruffle. "Good. Keep sleeping while I make us breakfast, okay?"

Tord hummed, moving his face up to give Tom's cheek a kiss. "Okay... Come back soon, you're warm." he huffed, hunkering back down into the mattress while Tom moved out of the bed. "Will do~"

Tord curled up in Tom's old spot, wanting to bask in the warmth and the scent his body imprinted on the sheets. Tom gushed as he watched this, tucking the blanket more securely around him so he didn't get cold.

"I love you," Tord reminded when Tom finished tucking him in, which earned a little blush and smile from his lover. He leaned down to give Tord a sweet, morning kiss.

"I love you too. Get your rest, dear."

The Larzinnian hid his smile in the sheets, falling back asleep to the sound of Tom's movements as he put on his boxers and pants.

The prince kept sleeping while Tom walked out of the cabin to feed and tend to Susan, before picking berries from the bushes inside of the forest, putting them inside a basket he got from the house, and then walking down to the beach.

Tom rinsed the collection of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries before putting them back into the basket. He walked over to Susan and attached the basket to one of her saddle bags, before grabbing a dagger out of the bag.

He rolled up the ends of his pants and trudged into the water, his pitch-black eyes searching for any sign of life hidden in the water.

The moment he detected something, he stabbed the current with his blade, miraculously catching a salmon.

When Tord woke up again, his eyes blinked open to the sight of his lover cooking a fish over the stovetop. Tord took a deep inhale, humming. "Smells good, babe."

Tom chuckled a little, his cheeks pink. "Thank you, dear. It's gonna need a couple more minutes. Here, lay down on your stomach, I made you something."

Tord made a little hum in response but honestly didn't want to move. His hips and back were aching, and he had just gotten used to his position. But, he did it anyway, rolling over so he was laying on his stomach, his arms hugging one of the pillows. He laid his head to the side, watching his lover as he picked up two stones left on the stove.

"What's that for?"

"The thing I made you," Tom hummed, placing each stone in its own cloth napkin. He folded the napkins over the top before carrying them over to Tord.
