Previously: Then Slo-mo bounces in. "Slo-mo, you never do anything right" Wild card says.
I look at Missy who  just looks so guilty but sad. "Hey, it's ok. You did great" I reassure.
"No, I didn't" she says then sits on the ground.

Chapter 6 - The Mother ship

Y/n's POV:

"That's good. Back to formation!" I hear Abuelita say to everyone tapping her cane to the ground as everyone gets into a unique fighting stance of their choice. "Keep training." she says then walks up to Missy and I sitting on a chair in the garden.

"Now, now." Abuelita says making Missy and I turn around. "You didn't expect to get it on the first try, did you?" She adds.

"I'm never gonna get it." Missy says doubting herself. "Not with a million tries. You know why?" She pauses, "Because I'm useless."

"Who told you that?" Abuelita says.
"Everyone told me." She says "In those exact words."
"Not everyone." I say trying to lighten the mood.

Abuelita sits down on the other side of Missy. "I have trained all of the greatest superheroes, Miracle Guy, Sharkboy, Tech-No, Lavagirl. Do you know who the greatest superhero of them all was?" She pauses. "It was your mother." She says putting her hands on mine and Missy's leg.

"But our mother was normal, like us." Missy says.
"Exactly. And without your mother, your father never would have become someone who leads by example. And you will too." She says to both of us "I'm sure of it." She says bringing Missy and I into a hug. "Mi amor, I'm sure of it." She says squeezing tighter.

"Mrs Moreno!" Wheels shouts ripping the warm family moment we had going on.
"What?" Abuelita says.
"Better come quick!"
"Oh my..." she says standing up.
"Oh no!" Missy and I say in sync and run after them.

"They sure found you fast." Abuelita says talking about the helicopters.
"They wanna take us back to headquarters." Facemaker says.

"Well, too bad." Missy says.
"We've got a world to save" I say
"Hmm." Abuelita nods and presses a button on her cane making a tunnel appear. "Go through this tunnel. I'll hold them off. Go, go, go, go. Go!"

"Wish you could come with us." I say.
"Hug me, as if it's for the last time." She says pulling Missy in as well.

"Hey, it won't be. We promise." Missy adds.
"That's my girls. Go, go, go, go. Go!" She repeats pushing us towards the exit.

Missy and I go through the short tunnel which leads to a slide and Missy goes first then I go next getting stopped by Wild Card, Facemaker and A Capella from falling on my butt.

I stand up from the slide and notice we are now in a darker tunnel that goes further then the eye could see.
"Guys? Come on!" Missy says showing no fears.

"It sure is dark in here." Guppy says. I grab her hand and she smiles at me holding it tighter "It's ok, Guppy. If it makes you feel better I'm a little scared of the dark" I whisper to her making her giggle quietly. A Cappella holds Guppy's other hand as well.

"Ojo, can I use your flashlight for a minute?" Missy asks.
Ojo hands her the iPad and smiles at Missy. "We just have to stick, together." She says starting to walk.
"Yeah, and find a way up to the Mother ship, and defeat the aliens who defeated all the Heroics." Wild Card says.
"Yes, but we can fight differently from our parents to win." I say.
