I was so excited about today's meeting that I couldn't even wait, I went to my vanity to put on some light makeup and brush my morning hair, I decided to go for a walk to freshen up before the meeting, I went downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen
"Hey mom" I say popping around the corner
"Oh hey sweetie" she says making a little jump
"I didn't mean to scare you" I laugh
"No it's ok" she says as she kisses my forehead
"are you excited for the meeting?" she asks
"Mom, I'm more than ready, but also nervous" I say tiptoeing around out of pure excitement
"God I can't wait to meet the people I will be working with the next 2 months" I say as my mom just laughs at me
"No I mean it I really hope they like me" I say unsure now
