In the two weeks Rin has been living with Aizawa, he's picked up on a few of his habits.

Like how he sleeps every chance he gets due to not being able to at night because of his hero work.

You see, he still does his hero work, and while he's out Rin is basically on house arrest, with a tracker latched to his ankle.

It's become quite the routine. Aizawa leaves, Rin cooks, Rin eats, Rin cleans, Rin packs up the food in a cute bento and leaves it along with a note for Aizawa to eat when he gets back. Rinse and repeat.

Rin would be lying if he said he wasn't worried everytime Aizawa left. He was scared he might become injured and not show up the next day.

The truth is, Rin has become quite fond of Aizawa. Though at the moment he isn't quite sure why.

Another habit he picked up on, quite fast actually, is that when Aizawa gets out of the shower, he usually comes out in sweat pants and no shirt. With his hair messily tied in a man bun and defined abs for all to see.

Another is when Sprinkles decides to sit with Rin rather than him, he gets jealous. Because Sprinkles isn't supposed to enjoy anyone's company, obviously.

"Nezu wants us to come to the school tomorrow. He's narrowed down the students he wants to put into the hero course finally, but he wants second opinions." Aizawa informs Rin.

In the back of the head, Aizawa was thinking about how strange it is for Nezu to want other people's opinion on this, but he ultimately  brushed it off.

"Okay!" Rin responded with a smile.

"Should I bake him some cookies?" Rin vaguely wondered out loud as he walked towards the kitchen.

Aizawa let out a huff and then went to the couch, pulling out his portable sleeping bag and crashing.

The next day, after Aizawa's patrole, he came back, showered, and took Rin to UA to meet with Nezu.

Despite having already been there, Rin still marveled at how large the campus is. He couldn't help it very much, it was just so amazing.

The more he thinks about it, the more he thinks of how lucky he is to be in this predicament.

Now, he can truely help the next generation of heroes. He knows it's going to be hard for them. Having the weight of society riding on their back the whole way.

He certainly can't imagine how stressful it will be. He can only hope that they are prepared whenever they are inevitably pushed into the clutches of this profession. And when they learn the truth of this society.

When they got to Nezu's office, Rin with a box in hands, Nezu had immediately called them in.

Going into the office was something else. Unlike the first time Rin had been in here, there were papers scattered everywhere. Profiles of the students who had tried out for the hero course. The only neet file being the red one infront of Nezu which had the title of 'future heroes' on the front of it.

"Hello! Thank you two for joining me today!" Nezu greeted.

"Hello! I brought cookies!" Rin exclaimed back with a smile that reached his eyes while holding up the box for all to see.

"How wonderful! Thank you." Nezu thanked.

"Now, let's get to business." Nezu started as Rin and Aizawa sat down, Rin beginning to hand out the cookies on little napkins he had brought as well.

"I've already selected the recommended students for each class, so that's four of the forty already selected. Then other 36 will come out of this," Nezu stated while picking up the thick red file on his desk.

Out of all the applicants we've had this year, I believe these 64 are the most likely to have a good chance. Of course, there are also those on the leaderboard who have guaranteed spots, we just need to select which class they'll be in." Nezu explained.

Rin nodded, putting on a serious face for this as he knew it to be important.

They immediately got to work, first off sorting through the top 10 and picking out which class to put them in. It didn't take too long, but then came the hard part.

They meticulously went through every file and surprisingly for every file Rin had brought up another point about the kids, that either being something from their personality or something detrimental about their quirk.

Like this kid with a spider-like quirk who had been so competitive he purposely threw other contestants into harms way. Which immediately led to Nezu removing him from the pile.

Or the kid with a paralysis quirk that allowed him to paralyze his opponent, at the cost of herself becoming paralyzed due to her drawback. Which they all agreed she had a great quirk, but could not let her in because they had realized that there was no possible way to extend how many people she paralyzed before she herself became paralyzed.

It took them about six hours to get through them all, Aizawa had gone to sleep within the first two. So in reality, it had been Rin and Nezu who hand picked every student.

Rin had made the argument to remove a kid named Mineta due to his pervertedness and replace him with the lilac colored kid he had seen before, who he now knew as Shinsou.

Unfortunately, he was denied due to the face that a.) Mineta's quirk really did have promise if it is trained, and more importantly b.) Mineta comes from a rich family and long-time sponsor of UA. And, unfortunately, Nezu cannot afford the loss it would bring him.

In the end, they had narrowed the 63 into 36, giving them the total 40 they needed. It only took them another hour and a half to sort the kids into the proper class.

The last thing they needed to do is choose the hero course students whose marks were high enough to be placed into general studies. As not a lot of people come to UA for their Gen Ed. And the department was unfortunately lacking in student numbers.

They had made sure to place Shinsou into class 1-C, the highest Gen Ed class.

Occasionally throughout the whole ordeal Aizawa would reach up and snag a few cookies, at which Rin would sometimes playfully smack it away, claiming that if he wasn't helping then he doesn't get any snacks. Other times he'd simply pretend not to notice and allow Aizawa to sneak some away.

After finally finishing, it was about 18:00, enough time to be able to cook some katsudon and miso soup.

Rin finished the day, falling asleep after wishing Aizawa luck on his patrol, thinking about how lucky he was.
