Chapter 18 : Follow the map

Persia...

Next morning, the friends woke up. Ujaas told them everything about last night that how he merged those maps. He couldn't copy the full merged map without Akash's help so they decided to go to Akash's shop to copy the full map.

"Alright, lets go," Vikram said.

"I think you should go and bring a horse cart," Ujaas said to Vikram.

"Why?" Vikram asked.

"When I had a glance on the map, it looked like the final destination was pretty far," Ujaas explained. "We need a horse cart to reach there. It will be difficult to reach by foot."

"Alright, me and Malika will bring horse cart, you guys meet us outside market," Vikram said.

They friends separated. Ujaas, Rohan and Akash went to Akash's shop. There using a candle, they copied the maps. Now they had a full map in their hands. They went outside the market where Vikram and Malika were waiting for them.

"Lets go guys," Vikram said.

"Annn.., let me handle the horses, please brother," Malika pleaded.

"No, we are doing some serious work," Vikram said. "I will handle them, you stay on the cart."

"Please, let me just one time," Malika said.

"No, stay on cart," Vikram said.

"I think you should let her handle it," Ujaas suggested.

"But why?" Vikram asked.

"Trust me, you will realize soon why," Ujaas said.

"Alright, if you say so," Vikram said.

Everyone else hopped onto the cart.

"Alright everyone, hold onto something, don't fall off," Malika said.

"What is she talking about?" Rohan said.

As Malika began, she made the horses run at full speed. Everyone was about to fly off the cart but they grabbed the cart.

"That's why I was not letting her handle the cart," Vikram shouted.

"Veeee..," Malika was enjoying it but everyone else were shouting their lungs out.

After following the map for sometime, they reached a very familiar place.

"Oh, so that's why you were suggesting me to let Malika handle the cart," Vikram said to Ujaas.

"Yes," Ujaas replied.

The friends had to cross the Entertainment District to move on. So, they continued on their path and entered the district.

"Malika, keep on moving the horse cart slowly," Ujaas said to her. "Me, Rohan and Vikram are hiding in the cart."

"But why are you guys hiding?" Akash asked.

"Just stay quite," Rohan said. "Hide us if you want to cross this place."

Ujaas, Rohan and Vikram were hiding in the cart while Malika was moving the cart slowly through the street.

"Hey look, there are posters of some people who look like Ujaas, Rohan and Brother," Malika said.

"Now let me ask you why your posters are everywhere with 'Wanted' written on them?" Akash asked.

"This is not my fault at all," Vikram cleared himself.

"Well, we will tell you later," Ujaas said. "For now, lets focus on escaping this place."

After moving through the streets they were about to reach the end of the district when they saw guards at the end.

"Oh no, they will check us," Akash said.

"Do something Akash," Vikram said. "You have to save us. Otherwise, we will be in jail."

"How big of a crime you guys have committed?" Akash said surprisingly.

As they reached the guards, they ordered them to stop the cart.

"We need to check your cart," a guard said.

"Why?" Malika asked.

"There are some dangerous thieves somewhere around," the guard said. "They also have their posters everywhere if you have seen. So, we need to catch them and that's why we need to check if you are hiding them in you cart or not."

"Well sir, I don't have any thief in my cart," Malika said.

"Still, we need to check," the guard said and was about to check the cart when Akash got up and started acting weirdly.

"Hey there mister guard," Akash said in a sussy way. "It looks like you want to check something. I think we should go somewhere private. Then I will let you check every part of my body as many times you want and don't worry, just for you its free."

The guard got scared and backed off.

"You still want to check the cart?" Malika said. "Well I have more like him sleeping in the cart so you can check if you want."

"No no, you can go," the guard said while getting chills of fear. "Just move, move."

Malika started moving the cart and they left the Entertainment District without getting caught.

"Well done Akash, we didn't know you could act so good," Ujaas said.

"Yeah, it looked like you were actually a different person," Rohan said.

"I swear I would never do something like this in my life again, no matter what," Akash said embarrassed. "But why were those guards after you guys?"

Ujaas told him and Malika about how they ran away after not paying for the food they ate but didn't tell them about their stealing and this is how they kept them safe by telling the half truth.

"Wait, why Vikram is still lying?" Ujaas said. 

When they lifted the cloth, under which he was hiding, they saw him asleep.

"How can this guy sleep in a situation like this?" Akash said.

"I told you, brother sleeps anywhere," Malika said.

The friends continued following the map to get the treasure of their dreams.
