Chapter 3: A Tiny Confession

Both arrived at the nearest cafe to get some dessert. Kokomi guide Gorou to the cafe since she was used with the place. Besides, Yoimiya works there.

" Welcome to Teyvat Cafe! Oh! Kokomi? And oh, a loverboy... " she tease Gorou who is still holding Kokomi's hand. " What can I get you two today? A couple of love potion to make you two even in love? "

" Yoimiya, stop that. You are making Gorou uncomfortable " Kokomi sighed " Besides, it's been so long since I been here with anyone, surprised me with something new please "

" Hmm... " Gorou's ears down after hearing Kokomi's comment.

' I don't feel uncomfortable at all. I don't think she even notice how much I was in love with her.... ' he sighed ' Wait! Don't say that to yourself Gorou! You are popular like Kokomi too! Yoimiya left the couple and walk to the other costumers.

Kokomi cleared her throat, " I'm so sorry that Yoimiya made you feel weird. She's just happy that I finally get someone to go on a date with " she nervously laugh. " Well, atleast it was with you, Gorou "

" O-oh! Don't worry about it! I think it's cute, I mean, it's good! Don't worry about a thing though, she didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all! Yoimiya is a good person, she wouldn't say weird stuff by accident! " Gorou trying to reassure her. " Besides, it's all fun when it was with you "

" Awh, you are so sweet, Gorou! " Kokomi face lits up. " No wonder people around the academy admire you. Not just handsome and cute, but you are a kind one too "

' Woah, she thinks I'm handsome and cute! ' Gorou's tail wags as Kokomi said it.

" Oh my... ", Yoimiya came out of nowhere with fresh plates of fine cakes. " Gorou, you finally did it? Great job, my boy "

" Miya, I haven't say a thing about it " Gorou awkwardly smile to her " I don't want to say it at a public space... "

" O-oh... So sorry! Damn, bet I ruined the moment, did I? "

" Yeah, no shit Sherlock" Gorou sighed and look at a flushed red Kokomi. " Uh, forget what I said, let's just enjoy the treat " he tries to change the subject.

" S-sure... " Kokomi gently take the fork to take a bite of the cake.

And then again, a silent came yet again.

Gorou again thought ' Oh lord, why in the Archon that I confessed that such thing to her. I shouldn't overwhelm her with my stupid confession! ' Gorou shook ' Urgh, let's just go the theater after this! I shouldn't take this too fast! She needs her personal space! '

Both of them finished the cakes and Kokomi again cough to get Gorou's attention. " Well, shall we go to the movies? The movie will starts on 7.30 P.M., am I right? "

" Yes! It will start soon! " Gorou startled by her words since he was deeply thinking about his mistakes, which he didn't do one. " I'll get the receipt first, you can wait at my motorcycle if want "

" Oh, it's fine. I want to talk to Yoimiya first. I'll be back in 5 " Kokomi then ran towards her best friend. " Need to talk with you for a bit, please? "

" Yeah, sure " Kokomi then pull her arms hard. " Holy! Don't have to be rush, dear "

Both of the girls are in the toilet, Kokomi staring at Yoimiya who is just smirking towards her.

" Whoops, maybe I did planned it all out? " Yoimiya smirks still planted all over her face.

" Damn, I thought you might need a little nudge to get to know your crush more, that's why I told him to get a date with you " Yoimiya shrugs. " Besides, he does look so interested with you. He did mentioned that he wanted to be with you to me "

Shocked, Kokomi pull Yoimiya. " WHAT?! WHEN DID HE SAID THAT?! "

" Well, I can't tell you about that, Koko. You have to confess to him if you want. Besides, I already told you that he likes you " Yoimiya then walk out with Kokomi by her side. " Don't worry, get the date done. We can find a way for you to confess after "
