Chapter 2: A little date

" Gorou, watch out! ", the oni screamed.

" Ouch! ", the ball hits hit face and he fell off. " Dammit, Itto! Next time, pass it to Chongyun or something! " the hybrid man palms his face.

Kokomi quickly ran to Gorou to check on him.

" Oh my Lord, Gorou, are you okay? ", The girl reaching out to his forehead. Kokomi worried that he will get a bump on his head.

" K-Kokomi! Why are you here? And oh... " he looks at Kokomi who is wearing his jacket.

' She looks nice in it.. maybe she should keep it' Gorou thought.

" It's okay Kokomi, I'm fine. I'm a tough boy! " Gorou smiles to her to assure her that he's okay.

" Sooooooo... Let's end our practice today early! Let's give some space for these lovebirds " Itto smirks and take the ball near Gorou. " Go on a date, you two " he winked.

" Itto! You... " And Itto walks away, leaving Kokomi and Gorou alone.

" Uh, let me treat you something today. It's been a while since we could hang out together.. O-or maybe no, because you are one busy person and I never wanted to bother you. So uh, good luck Kokomi. I'll get going now! ", Gorou then ran to the bleachers to get his sports bag.

Anxious, Kokomi then tugs Gorou's jersey. " Uh, Gorou... I would really like to hang out with you.. " she then blushed. " N-not that I want to bother you ... Maybe you are free today "

" Of course! I would really love to! " his tail wags as he answered her " My treat, of course! We can go to the theaters tonight, I'll wait you at the garden! 7 PM sharp! " 

" Sure! So uhm, can I please know who's jacket is this? I think this is from the basketball club.. is it yours? "

He blushes as she look at him curiously. " I.. I can explain! You are shivering at the library, so I thought it would be nice if I lend you my jacket for a bit. Don't worry though! It was clean, I didn't left any stain on it! " he almost stutter his words.

" Don't worry, Gorou. I appreciate it. Do you want it back now? " Kokomi taking the jacket off of her. " Here " she hands out the jacket.

In silence, Gorou then just smile at Kokomi.

" But I think it looks nice on you... "

" O-oh..  " she blushes again. " You want me to keep it for now? " she wears it again.

" Yes, please! I mean, sure.. yes.. " he holds his tail so it wouldn't show how excited he is. " We better get going now. I'll wait for you at the garden! " He quickly ran to the dorms.

" Okay... " Kokomi then humming her way back to the dorms.

" Kokomi, you're back! " Sara smiles as she walks in the room.

" Yes, I'm back guys " she stretchs her body and smiles " And I have a date tonight "

" Oh my! Did I heard it right? " Ayaka came from her room. " Who's the lucky boy? "

" Gorou asked, so I agreed " she chuckle " I'll use the shower now. Ah, where's Yoimiya? "

" She have a shift at the cake house, so she went a while ago ", Sara explains. " Get your ass to shower now, Gorou is waiting for you! "

Kokomi ran to her room, took her towel and went to the shower.

After about 10 minutes, she finally went out of it and change into some casual clothes.

' This would do, besides, I don't think Gorou have a preferences... ' she walks out her room to find Ayaka standing with her make up tools.

" Aya? Why are you standing out here? Isn't your favorite drama is on the line? "

" Let me do your make up... " She excitedly say.

" But, I don't wear make up? "

" Oh, please Kokomi! Just a simple, natural one! It's not a heavy one! " Ayaka plead.

" Ok, sure. But please be quick.. " Kokomi then sit at the sofa. " Come on, I'm ready "

Ayaka starts with her masterpiece after the girl sat down.

" Sorry that I took more than I should have to be ready. Ayaka plead to do some make up on me " she shyly walks to Gorou who is sitting on the bench.

" Wow, you are stunning " Gorou awed by the look of the girl. " I.. I don't mean to stare of course, but you are beautiful as ever... " he adores her which made her blushed.

" L-lets walk to the theater now... " she tried to hide her blushing face.

" Oh, I have my motorcycle though, come on, I give you a ride! Don't worry, I won't ride it too fast ", Gorou assure her.

" Ok then. I believed you.. ", she smiles again which made the boy happy.

' This will be a really lovely night... ' Gorou smiles himself.
