11:48 A.M.

Mom wanted me to go and grab some dairy products for her. The least I could do was this since I feel like I put her through hell bringing me back in having to deal with me living with her again. I couldn't help but feel bad. Mom is the last person I want to deal with my problems. She's like my best friend to me and I love her for everything she did and sacrificed to make her children happy. Dad, I just wish he would understand people from their point of view, not just his.

Taking my mind off everything, I wanted to spend some time with family, just like we did back in the good days when we were all together. Like when I was kid. When the twins were just babies, Mom and I always had a competition of who would cook the fastest. Sometimes, it ended in laughter. Other times, in ended in complete messes that even Mom faults herself for, despite being a clean freak.

Dad and I use to always go fishing on the weekends. He would always try to trick me into thinking that I caught a trout when seconds later, I caught a big one. When he went for his turn, he caught onto something in the water and nearly tipped the boat over. To us, it was the funniest day ever.

I couldn't help but watch them as they talked in the kitchen, smiling and sharing kisses. The twins in the living room, playing with Pyrese. Running upstairs to grab my digital camera, I sat back onto the stairs and took a photo. Looking onto the preview of the picture, I smiled and walked up to Mom and Dad.

"Hey, guys. Smile!" I said to them, ready to snap. Mom covered her face laughing. "Morgan, you know I hate taking photos when I'm not ready." Dad jumped in and picked her up as she giggled as well as the twins. "Don't you always?" Dad said laughing. Snapping the photo, I looked to them. "Perfect."

"Can we get a picture?" Tyler asked. Pyrese barking at the camera's flash moments ago. "Sure." I smiled walking to them standing in the living room. "Smile, you little boogers." "We're the good pickin' ones." Joey added. The flash returned, the photo presented itself. "Great job guys!" I smiled for a moment, looking at the photo, the smile slowly faded.

The boy from my nightmares, standing beside the fireplace, behind Joey, staring into the camera. The red-eye glare extremely noticeable onto him. The house grew silent for a moment. "How does we look, Morgan?" Tyler asked. "Yeah, do we look good?" Joey smiled. "Y-yeah, you guys look great.." I reluctantly smiled. My happy mood, gone. My body just froze staring at the photo. "Let us see!" Turning my attention onto them, I stepped back as they tried to reach for the camera.

"Not yet." I faked a smile. "It has to be developed and printed." "Awe." They said in unison. "I'll be right back." I said running up the stairs. Going back into my room, I logged onto Skype, hoping Sammi would answer.

Sammi is currently logged off.

"Damn it." Grabbing the keys to the car, I headed back downstairs grabbing my jacket on the way out. I kissed Mom and the twins and made my way towards the local market. The plaza was a bit busy. People walking left and right, going in and out. Looking at Mom's grocery list, I grabbed a basket and headed inside.

milk

sugar

eggs

butter

Muttering the list to myself, I headed down the dairy aisle, grabbing the necessary needs that Mom needed. With one earbud in my ear, I sung to myself softly. Turning into another lane, I cussed out to myself, knocking over both of our baskets together. "Oh, shit!"

"I'm so sorry." I said to her picking up my things. "No, it's okay. I should've watched where I was going." She replied doing the same. The voice sounding familiar. Looking in her eyes, come to my surprise, it was Natalie, the cashier from Forever 21. "Hey, it's you." She said. "Morgan, right?" "Y-yeah, that's me. Hi." "Hey, I saw you getting escorted out by Mitch. Are you okay?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm okay." "What happened?" "I'd rather not discuss it here." I told her, gently rubbing onto my shoulder. "Oh, I'm sorry. I don't mean to be nosy."
