"W-What..?" Wildberry asked out.
Siri sighed.
"Ah. Nevermind. I bored you long enough. What's meant to be answered has been answered. Please leave me alone now,"
Siri said, before they used a gust of magic to shove Wildberry away.
Wildberry yelled as he was shoved out the room, the door flung open before slamming shut after he was tossed to the floor like a rag doll.
He got to his feet as he stared at the now locked door. Siri had locked themself in again. Siri sighed, wondering what they had done in their life to end up in such a situation. No one their age would be doing this. They should be in school, learning, so they could become what they had wanted to be. A doctor, or a phycologist. Yet here they were, they were rich now, but they had no joy or happiness whatsoever. Quite ironic that they're so young yet they're already so miserable with their life. Well. It didn't matter now, did it?

Wildberry found himself walking back to his room. As he opened the door, he saw Clotted Cream working on some documents again.
"Hi Clotted..."
Wildberry muttered as he sat next to the shorter man, who looked up for a split moment, before turning back to his work.
"Mhm...Hey,"
Clotted eventually muttered as he went back to scribbling away at all the paperwork he had.
"Are you overworking yourself again?"
Wildberry asked.
"What? What do you mean? Of course not-!"
Clotted Cream gasped as he slammed his pen down onto the table and glanced up, this time for a longer period of time, letting Wildbery take a good look at his face. Clotted Cream looked exhausted. His eye bags were heavy and his eyes almost seemed lifeless. And...How didn't he notice this earlier? Clotted Cream's hair was a mess. Strands of hair poked out from Clotted Cream's usually brushed neatly hair.
"Clotted Cream, I think you should take a break,"
Wildberry stated coldly as he couldn't bear to look at the weary state of the other anymore.
"No! I need to finish this! As Consul of the Crème Republic, I must- WOAH-!"
Clotted Cream gasped as Wildberry scooped him up into his arms and sat down against the sofa. Clotted Cream screamed for a moment as he tried to get out of Wildberry's grasp, but Wildberry held tight. It was almost like that time where Wildberry had trapped Clotted Cream with him in the garden. Wildberry rocked back and forth for a moment, feeling miserable after talking to Siri earlier. They just made him so...Depressed. Clotted Cream eventually stopped resisting as he broke down into tears.
"I'm sorry...I can't help it...I need to keep myself busy otherwise I'll start thinking those thoughts again otherwise I'll start crying like a stupid kid..."
Clotted Cream weeper as he buried his face into his hands.
"I feel so childish doing this...I shouldn't be doing this...I should be strong..."
Clotted Cream rambles on mindlessly, as Wildberry froze, listening to Clotted Cream's rambles.
"...It's okay...I'll always be there for you...I promise..."
Wildberry muttered as he continued to rock back and forth slowly, Clotted Cream still sobbing uncontrollably as he let out all the misery and sadness.
"Promise me...You'll never be like Custard...Don't you dare be like him...Don't you dare hurt me like he hurt me...Cause if you do...I won't hesitate to let you know I want you deader than a dodo when Siri has a sword against your throat,"
Clotted Cream stated, his voice monotone and empty as his feet dangled in the air. Wildberry sat with hatted breath for a moment, before he nodded.
"Alright...I promise that..."
Wildberry muttered. He gingerly pressed his lips against Clotted Cream's cheek, as the blonde instantly turned pink from shock and embarrassment. He flinched for a moment, his legs and arms twitching as he felt the warm kiss.
"...May I..?"
Wildberry asked after he removed his lips from the other's cheek. Clotted Cream bit his tongue, before he nodded, as he raised his head a little.
"Of course,"
Clotted Cream soon added before he allowed Wildberry to kiss him, still flinching a bit, not entirely sure on how to react to this act of affection. He finally allowed himself to accept it, as his tears which had dripped away came back, spilling out his eyes and staining his cheeks. It wasn't a bad feeling, affection was nice. He allowed himself to savour it. The warm feeling he felt from this. It all felt too good to be true. What if Wildberry left him to? But he always had Siri to run to to cry didn't he? Siri would probably end Wildberry's life faster than he could count if that happened anyways.

Siri sat inside the room where they had killed Custard, muttering nonsense to themself as usual. The history of the cookies...The meaning of their lives and everything else's lives...What was the point of knowing all this if they couldn't be happy? That was when a knock escaped the locked door. Siri got up and walked towards the large wooden doors, unlocking and pulling them open.
"Pardon me,"
Pure Vanilla smiled warmly as he looked at the shorter child.
"Hello Siri. How are you?"
Pure Vanilla asked, as he revealed a tray of tea and cookies in his hand.
"...I'm...I'm tired,"
Siri answered, as Pure Vanilla nodded.
"I suppose you do need some rest. Struggling to sleep? Don't worry. I prepared chamomile tea. I suppose a biscuit or two would be nice for you,"
Pure Vanilla smiled as he stepped into the room and closed the door behind him. Siri nodded for a moment, feeling the barriers they had forced them self to draw drop.
Siri instantly crumbled as they couldn't help but ambush Pure Vanilla into a hug. Pure Vanilla gasped, before chuckling as he wrapped his arms around Siri.
"There there,"
Pure Vanilla murmured to Siri, as they buried their head into his gown.
"Ahah...Why not we have a talk?"
Pure Vanilla asked.
Siri stayed silent for a moment, biting their tongue.
