Izaya leaned against the wall opposite of Russia Sushi, his eyes studying the two very carefully. Noticing the phone was still with Tsuki, he frowned slightly. Did she really want to avoid speaking to him that badly? That she'd just give him her phone to keep on him? So annoying. So very annoying... Sighing softly, he slid his phone out of his pocket and began typing a message.
[You cannot keep her for long, Tsukishima. No matter what you do, my dear Hachimenroppi will always come back for me.] he slid the mobile back into his pocket before feeling it vibrate already. Giving a frown, he read what it said.
[Rop-chan is /mine/, and only mine Iza-san.
Please understand that and stop following us around~] so he had been spotted, had he? Letting his hood fall back again, the informant began typing again.[Oh so you see me do you? I have my reasons for coming into the city. I do work here after all. What will you do, send Shizu-chan after me?]
[No, not that. Shizuo doesn't need me to find you-
But I will continue on my date with my Rop-chan and you will not interfere. After all, what would she think if she knew you were stalking us??]Reading the last words, the informant pocketed the phone, eyes narrowing on the blond before turning to a different direction. He found himself at a store that specialized in candles and frowned slightly, "Perhaps... I still have a chance..." he murmured, buying a single black and red candelabra. Yes, this was crucial for his plan to win the female back. Very much so...
--------------
A few more minutes passed by before the food was served and the blonde was as hospitable along with polite as always, bowing a head in appreciation before deciding to take a bite of his food. Humming happily at first yet noticed how the misanthrope merely was staring at her dish.
It was a silly thing honestly, to think so much of someone who didn't think of you once in the entire day. Then why was she still wondering what the informant was doing now? It meant nothing to her after all if he decided to speak to her ever again... Right?
While the other was lost in thought, the blonde knew that his hunch was correct once seeing the informant decided to send a message. Glancing out the window, a devious like grin crawling to his lips seeing a pair of Crimson like hues in the distance. Yet soon his expression changed in a heartbeat when glancing back to the female.
"Rop-chan?" Tsuki asked, concern just oozing out of his voice, moving a hand across the table, gently placing upon hers. "T-try not to think about I-it. Ok?"
"I'm not thinking about anything." Saying so defensively while letting out a sigh. Was it that fucken obvious that she was? "Let's just eat the food then go." Saying so before recoiling her hand to enjoy the meal that was given to her.
"A-alright." He replied, now even more on guard than before. The informant was lurking around somewhere, which was such a nuisance after all, if he tried to take away Roppi-... No, the blonde did not want to even think of what would happen if that were to occur.
More time went by, a few short conversations occurred, mainly asking how work had been going for one another yet somehow the topi returned to the informant.
Placing money on the table to leave for Simon to collect with the bill, Tsuki spoke timidly-"Rop-chan, you know... Y-you don't have to stay with Iza-San if you don't want to. I-I can take care o-of y-you too." His voice trailed off yet the misanthrope had the same apathetic expression as always.
"Let's go now." Evading the topic now standing up and exiting the restaurant.
"I-I didn't mean to upset you-"
"It's fine. Just don't mention that idiots name again."
At least not now... For today was a day where she was attempting to forget the informant, at least for a few more hours until things settled down.
--------------
Izaya had bags on his arms before he was returning to Shinjuku. One had a black candelabra with red candles, another bag had various ingredients inside of it for dinner, the last bag had two a beautiful kimono and a handsome yukata, the kimono was black with a red bow, and the yukata was black with a red floral pattern on it. Everything was rather expensive of course, the informant had expensive tastes after all.
Getting on the train, his mind trailed back to the restaurant, having watched the blond up on his precious Roppi... It took all he had to not just enter Russia Sushi. Tsuki was beginning to push the limits of his patience. "How dare he think of even breathing her air..." he hissed to himself, grip tightening on the bags as he sat in one of the empty seats.
He pulled his phone out, reading the last few texts. He had no way to answer. He had nothing to say. Nothing at all.
Arriving back at his apartment, Izaya set the table for later, placing the candelabra in the middle of the table. He put the ingredients for the food he planned to cook in their respected places in the kitchen, then moved onto the bedroom Roppi had previously used. It was empty. Completely empty.
/Like your heart./
Izaya ignored that voice in the back of his head. He pulled out the kimono and folded it neatly, leaving it on the empty bed. Giving the room a final glance, the informant left the room, closing the door behind him.
"What has you upset all of the sudden?" his secretary asked.
"I'm not allowed to have emotions?" was Izaya's only reply as he moved to sit in his swivel chair. "You could say that my humans have broken my heart..." It was painful. "I'll be fine soon enough though~!" he moved his hand into his pocket and began dialing Roppi's number and then stopped himself. What if Tsuki answered? What if Roppi rejected him? He didn't think what little heart he had left could take a rejection well-
With that in mind, he placed his phone on the desk and began doing his work on the computer.
