The strings of my heart

Diner

I stared up at my ceiling, Hearing birds chirping and lawnmowers running. I had another sleepless night, I was still in a daze when the door of my room started opening. I didn't bother looking up already knowing who it was. I wasn't expecting them to fucking jump on me.

I gasped for air when they jumped on top of me, they were laughing the whole time.

I gasped a "get off of me" but it was muffled by them squishing me. I was wiggling underneath them trying to get away.

"Where are you going dear mittens," 'em said with a sickeningly sweet voice.
I was still trying to escape from under them

" We just want to spend time with our baby sister" Ed also said with the same sickening voice
I was still trying to escape when I muttered
" I don't want to spend time with you, it's too early for this"

"But amity, it's never too early to spend time together," Ed and em said simultaneously

I gave up on trying to get free, I sighed and I heard them giggling knowing that I gave up. That's when I had an idea, both of them started getting up from me so I jumped up and pushed them down. There was a loud thud and groans

I looked down at them and said
" dearest siblings what are you doing on the ground" grinning and with the same sickeningly sweet voice. they gave me an annoyed face and muttered things while I walked away and headed to the bathroom. I could hear the starting to get up so I ran to the bathroom and shut the door. I was waiting for them to start banging on the door but they didn't, instead I heard them walking to the living room. I let out a sigh of relief, I pushed myself away from the door and turned on the shower, I grabbed a towel from the cabinet in the bathroom. I waited until the water felt hot enough, I stepped in feeling a light sting from the hotness of the water. I got used to the heat, I sat down and let the water hit my back and head. Even though hot water was hitting me I still felt cold, not physically but mentally. I was hoping the hot water hitting my head would unfreeze me. I sat there a while feeling sad for myself, I got up and did my shower routine. After I got out of the shower the whole bathroom felt like a Sauna. I walked to the mirror and wiped off the fog that covers it. I looked at myself.
I had heavy bags, my hair dye was fading and my hair was growing more.

I got out of the bathroom and walked fast to my room and locked the door. I looked through my closet, finding a worn out purple hoodie with my band's name "Teenage Abominations" and some black shorts. When I walked into the living room Ed was engrossed by the tv and Em was scrolling through her phone. I ignored them and walked to the kitchen. I opened the fridge, there were a lot of things in the fridge but I didn't feel like making anything. Walking back to the living room I saw both of the twins now watching the tv.

"Do you guys want to go out to eat?" I questionably asked

" Yeah, I'm too lazy to actually cook anything," Em answered. Ed was still engrossed with the tv, em flicked the side of his head to get his attention .
"OW" Ed rubbed where Em flicked. Em just rolled her eyes and told him to get ready. Ed looked confused but didn't ask why. Both of them walked over to their rooms to change. I walked to the balcony to see if it was cold. When I walked out it felt nice, it wasn't that cold or that hot. I decided not to go change so I went to put on my shoes, I got on my black vans and waited for Ed and em to finish getting ready. I grabbed the keys as both of them walked out of their rooms. I threw the keys at Em since I didn't want to drive, I walked out with both of the twins behind me. I started running knowing that Ed would want to sit in the front, as I was running I heard him start running behind me. I tried running as fast as I could. But he still beat me to the front, I sloughed down the backseat, I was mad that he beat me to it and he's not making it subtle that he was happy that he beat me. I kicked his seat and he started being more obnoxious. Em just rolled her eyes, she started up the car and we drove off the parking lot. I connected my phone to the car and started playing some music. Ed snatched the phone from me
"This music is trash I have a way better one" he said smiling.
"You better not put a stupid song from cocomelon" i grunted
He just rolled his eyes and began typing something. He found the song he was looking for and the beginning of the song started blasting through out the car
