Side Story #1: After School Inquiries

Clever, Avian, Oswald and I decide to go to Oswald's house after school to study for the upcoming physics final test. On the bus ride there, I get a text from Hester.

"Hola~"

He was trying to flirt with me. Every time he texts me, I get butterflies and start living in my own headspace where we can just talk.
Our longest texting session took almost an entire day- 8 hours or so. Of course, there were breaks in between, but we were always drawn back a few minutes afterwards.
I text back with the same energy.

"Hola mi Principe Azul~ como estas~?"

I was so waiting for his answer... my legs were fidgeting side to side waiting for his response...
"Who's that!?" Avian sneaks up behind me and peaks at my phone.
"N-N-NONE OF YOUR BUSINESSES!" I shout in embarrassment. I'm pretty sure the whole bus heard me.
"Sigh... sorry, I was just... scared that's all...!" I stop moving for a moment so I can ponder... what's really stopping me from telling them? They deserve to know. They're the only friends I have in this school and I'm not ashamed of our relationship... that much...

We get off at Ozzy's bus stop and walk to his house. We take out our laptops and notebooks and start studying the material. After 30 minutes we took a break and got something to eat.
I was so eager but cautious to bring up the conversation but it eventually got quiet enough for me to butt in.
"Hey... guys?"
Everyone looked up from their food and stared daggers into me.

"You know Mr. Hester, right? Spanish teacher?"
"He's like the only one, of course-" Clever abruptly says.
"Well... we're kinda..." I stopped talking for a good 5 seconds waiting for someone, anyone, at this table to finish my sentence to hide me the embarrassment.
Avian puts both her hands on the table and moves in closer. "You guys are...? Wait... it's not what I think it is... don't tell me you're..."
"Yeah, we are... surprise?" I say in defeat.
"No fair! You should of told me before the semester started I'm failing in Spanish and would LOVE to have this on my resume." Avian chuckles softly like she finally say solved a puzzle. My shoulders sink into the chair like a turtle retreating into its shell.
"That's not it Av..."
"Well, what is it then!?"
"I... I uh... Um..."
"GOD SAY IT ALREADY!"
"IM SEEING MR HESTER...! As in we're a couple. As in we're kind of... Fuck...Ing?

I watch as the whole room goes silent and stiff for a good 30 seconds before Clever slowly gets out of his chair. "You. Did. WHAT!?"
"Well, in middle, we started fucking and after I moved, we coincidentally met again in High School and started fucking again... And now we're a couple...?"

The silence was so loud. I wanted to get up and leave but I still wanted to hear what they had to say.
"Well, actually..." Clever moved in slow motion rubbing behind his head.
"I saw you guys making out the other day- NOT in a creepy way, but I just happened to look into one of the dark-lit classrooms and see you two in there. I put a paper over the window so nobody would see you guys."
"The fuck? You guys need to be more careful that could of been anyone y'know?" Ozzy adds in, banging his fist on the table.

Avian still sat there in half astonishment, half confusion, but I quickly learn that that look was not how she felt at all...
"WOW that explains a lot, actually!" She gets up from her chair and collects her trash
"Augh! Now I can sleep peacefully now" Avian stomps away to the trash can muttering to herself.
"I gotta use the bathroom brb" Clever gets up and leaves.
"Hey," Ozzy reaches over and touches me on the shoulder.
"You can talk to us about this whenever you want to. Especially me. I don't know if those two'll give you better advice than me but... yeah. Ok?" Ozzy sighs
"Ok I'm gonna go do the dishes. My mom'll kill me if she comes home to a mountain of shit in the sink." He gets up and throws a heart sign as he leaves.
I look at my phone again and notice that Hester left a nice and long text message that was probably extra raunchy. I cup my hands over my phone and read it while my friends weren't looking.
