I just finished my last year of junior high, and now it's time for High School! I moved the next town over because... the area I lived in... was kinda trash... so I'm going to a different school! I'm so excited! I get to have a fresh start, meet new faces, and make new friends!
I walk in the building and sit in the cafeteria with the other freshman for orientation. Me and my peers talk amongst one another I make a couple friends- Avian, Clever, and Oswald. The fuck kind of name is "Oswald"? It's whatever tho, they're cool people.
The principal makes their way up to the stand and explains the code of conduct and other school crap that most of the students break one way or another. The principal leaves the stand and presents someone else on the stand. No... NO WAY- Mr. Hester makes his way to the stand to talk. I quickly put my head down and blocked my head with my hand so he couldn't recognize my face in the audience.
After the orientation, we go to our home room classes and get our schedules. Avian has Art, Clever had Science, and Ozzy had technology. But me? Out of all people... Had Spanish as their homeroom class. Right there, in big letters- Mr. Hester appears. I'm not mentally prepared for this. I wish I could just run out of the classroom and go home... but I'm to tired for that and my moms home, so I stayed at school.
