When I went to my next class, I noticed that James is there. It's like he's a stalker. Wait, let me rephrase that- he is a stalker. Good thing we can use our phone in this class. This is study hall, why wouldn't we use our phones? I put on my ear buds and started to listen to music. I am that type of person who likes to listen to old songs, but I like modern music. It's just that I listen to older music more and it returns happy memories of when I was little.

I see you drivin' around town with the girl I love and I'm like,

Forget you and forget her too.

I was listening to Cee Lo Green on Spotify. It is a really catchy song.

I can't believe that I haven't notched that Ann was in my class. I started talking to her and we had a pretty decent conversation. We started talking about what periods we had next which made me realize that I had math next period, again.

*Ring Ring*

It was math time. My favorite subject of all, note the sarcasm. We were learning about complicated stuff that is so hard that I can't even explain it correctly. The only person I know that could teach it without saying 'um' is Mr. Hemming. He is this really old guy and I think he is in his sixties, but he seems pretty chill. He doesn't even mind when we talk to one another during class. The only time I've seem him mad was when somebody didn't do their homework.

Mr. Hemming called on a guy to answer a problem. Surprisingly, he answered the question within three seconds. His name is Alex and he seemed attractive. I had a feeling that I had to talk to him after class. Again, let me rephrase that. I need to talk to him. It's just that I find some nerds attractive. I know that it's weird, but it's better than dating a dumb guy.

This class assignment was to get a pair and do some math exercises. The only thing is that we don't get to pick our own partner. Mr. Hemming picks our partners for us. With shock, I got paired up with Alex. He's pretty straight forward.

"Let's get started" He said cracking his knuckles.
"What are we going to do?" I asked with a smile on my face. I was trying to control myself because on the inside I freaking out.
"We are going to blah blah blah..."

I stopped listening to what he was saying and started to examine his face. Blonde hair, fair skin, blue eyes. What more? The fact that he has straight A's and loves music make it really hard not to like him. Was I falling for this guy?

Probably? I just met him today and it's really awkward --

"Hazel? Hello!? Earth to Hazel?" Alex said.
I'm wondering if he's wondering that I'm weird.
"Yes? What are we doing?"
"Did you not hear what I said like 5 seconds ago"
I shook my head. Feeling embarrassed a little.
Suddenly the bell rings.

*ring ring*
"Come to my place later -- wait, no! After school. IMMEDIATELY."
Woah. I am amazed. He is really into this project. And it's not even due this week!
"Ok -- Wait! I need your address"

76-900 Green Blvd
Albany, New York 76596

I head to the lunch room.
*splat
There was tomato juice on my WHITE shirt.
There's full chaos. There are spaghetti noodles flying in the air. And I don't know where they got the tomato juice from -- is it even tomato juice? Disgusting.
Then the lunch bell rang meaning that lunch is over. I didn't even eat yet!
Instead, I just made my way to my last two classes. None of the teachers called on me which was great because I was day dreaming. I was thinking of Alex. I think he's a nice guy if you don't get him mad. right? I just kept on thinking of things I should've done when I was at Math class. For instance, I should've listened to Mr. Hemings so that Alex wouldn't get mad.

The next thing I knew it, the bell rang. That was insanely quick!

"Hazel!"
My mom shouted
"Mom! I need to go to this address"
"Why?"
"Because I have to do something. It's about math and I have a partner, it's not due tomorrow but he thinks it's a great idea to finish it today"
"Ok then, as long as you finish it up"

I can't believe she didn't recognize that huge stain on my t-shirt.

Alex's house is really close to the school. It's like a 1 minute drive.
"Bye mom"
My mom waved back with a smile on her face.

I walked up to Alex's door and pressed the doorbell.

"Hello"
