Jonah was violently tossed into a concrete wall. He hit it with a thud.
"UGH-" Jonah groaned in pain. He heard his back crack, the impact of hitting the wall knocked all the breath out of his lungs. It felt as if someone had swung a bat at him. Jonah gasped for air. As he breathed heavily he heard footsteps growing closer. A slow, but steady beat of boots.
tap.....tap.....tap.....tap.....tap.....
Jonah tried to ready himself for whatever form the beast took now. He panted as the creature came closer. He heard quiet humming as it approached. It was such a haunting melody.. and it was in a voice he recognized.
"Haha.. silly Jonah. You try too hard."
Jonah sat up and tried to find where the voice came from. The left..? No no, maybe the right.. or it could be right in f-
The copycat slightly rose from the shadows or the dark basement. It laughed quietly. It was just a tall, slender, blank, humanoid void."You really are a fighter. Heheh.. you can surely start a bit of a struggle, that's for sure."
"Who... Who are you..?" He spoke slowly. His vision was blurry, making it hard to see the threat. The shadow stepped closer, now making itself visible.
It wasn't possible. It couldn't be him.
"A..Adam..?"
Jonah was now pressed against the wall, breathing heavy in panic. The copy now towering over him. It looked so familiar. The black hoodie with the words 'B.P.S.' cheaply etched into the fabric. The brownish- blonde fluffy hair that poked out from the edges. It wasn't be him. There was no way."Get away from me you sicko!" Jonah yelled. Then Adam suddenly grabbed Jonah by the collar of his shirt and yanked him up to his feet violently. He whispered close to his face. Jonah refrained from coughing. His throat felt like it was closing. He choked as "Adam" proceeded to press him against the wall. Jonah struggled to get words out as he kicked around uselessly. "Adam" stared at him directly in his eyes.
His eyes.. they looked so lifeless. So fake.. He didn't blink once. There was no light in them. No little shine. Not like the real Adam always had. He wasn't real. He didn't feel anything. He wasn't him..
Jonah slowly ran out of energy to kick. His grip on "Adam's" arm slowly loosened.... Soon he stopped breathing right. "Adam" unfazed, stared right at Jonah's eyes. Jonah, now breathlessly dangled. He gave up.
There was no getting out of this..
"Adam" laughed quietly, still not blinking. Jonah struggling to even make a sound, soon went unconscious. "Adam" continued to hold him up for another few seconds, before roughly tossing him onto the floor. Not a flinch. He was out, and was barely breathing. He breathed heavily, but very slowly.
He's not making it. Might as well just leave him...
"Adam" thought. And with that, he soon disappeared into the shadows. His work was done.
